Blinking Liars And Fat Faced Nutters In The Telegraph
THE Telegraph brings good news for nose touchers, long held to be liars of the worst sort:
Liars blink less frequently than normal during the lie, and then speed up to around eight times faster than usual afterwards.
So reports Lucy Cockcroft, who, sadly, does not equip her feature with a video of her typing, and blinking.
In other Telegraph news, Roger Highfield tells us:
Men with round faces tend to be more aggressive.
Roger has a round face. And once more we wonder what he looks like when he smacks the keys on his keyboard, and if he blinks a lot..?
Roger also tells us:
Westerners like to gaze on the eyes and mouth, while in the East it is the nose that draws the most attention.
Telegraph writers like to contemplate the navel…

Body language is no help if someone is confabulating. I’m always getting details wrong when I’m telling anecdotes and if you watch Big Brother you’ll notice that no one ever gets the story right when they’re reporting what was said and done during arguments.

Only trouble is - with Narcissistic personality types - they have an over-ride button in the brain.
They can create false memory with such ease that they believe it to the point that they would satisfy a lie-detector.
Only when fear and extreme agitation are induced do they falter.
At which point - some PR bloke says it’s best not to be exposed to the public eye. lol
