Cherie gets a lot of crap - in the second quote she’s a mother talking not a politician and is really that hysterical all mothers fear for their children it is part of the job
anyway, on politicians she’s right!

To be fair, Cherie doesn’t actually use the word ‘hysterical’ - the Commission’s report does. I think this is just a bit of creative licence on the part of the Independent…
