David Beckham’s Carbon Footprint Replaced By Helium
THE Carbon Trust says: “With all his money he [David Beckham] should be using it at least to reduce his own footprint. He has more freedom of choice when it comes to methods of traveling. He could also choose greener cars.”
As Anorak noted: “During a four-month period over the summer, he was reported to have spent at least eight full days in the air.”
According to Soccer America daily, with reference to data provided by the British environmental group Carbon Trust, the Los Angeles Galaxy superstar is responsible for 163 tons of carbon dioxide yearly — compare that to the normal 9.4 tons the average Englishman produces.
Beckham’s Carbon Footprint — a measure of the impact human activities have on the environment in terms of the amount of green house gases produced, measured in units of carbon dioxide — may be the largest in human history.
David is unavailable for comment. although those who have heard him speak say he has stopped breathing carbon and in favour of a Beckham branded oxygen-helium blend…

Hi Guys
It’s good to see that the ’90’s generation have woken up, hopefully, in time. Your ‘olds’ have done you no favours - Won’t have wind turbines, spoils the view!
Won’t have waste incinerators, pollute the air! Don’t want wave power, it disturbs the fish! Don’t want a composter, it smells! Will you turn off your washing machines and dish washers? NO WAY!
So, the older generation are sentencing you to nuclear power. No shortage of Uranium miners, they’re so poor they will do anything to earn money. Note the word EARN. Their income is shortlived mortality is so high. But some would say that as they are not Brits it doesn’t matter and they can always turn off their TV’s if there is no sand to put their heads in.
PS If this broadside was on my blog I would call it a “Meldrew Moment”

Nuclear power plants are the cleanest type of power plant. They don’t burn waste, you will see no smoke coming out of a nuclear power plant, polluting the planet. They release NO EMISSIONS.
Carbon emissions DO create problems for the earths environment.
These carbon emissions create ozone that warms the earth, which in turn causes everything to heat up, all the ice to melt, and creates smog, causing breathing problems for people in urban communities.
So, how sad are you, Watcher? Your ignorance leads me to believe you are just another typical idiot to thinks everything is about taxes, and likes to talk out of their backside before they stop and think and make sure what they are saying is actually true.
Maybe you should go outside and ‘Watch’ the ice caps melting, and the levels of smog over urban communities increase to dangerous numbers, and then come back and tell me it’s all about taxes and see if you ‘lol’ at global warming.
It’s sad that idiots like you still roam the earth. I’m 17 years old and I probably know more about what is going on around us than you do, Watcher.

Yeah, Watcher all the polar ice caps melting is normal and change in weather models is natural… It can’t have anything to do with what you or I do…
The industrial revolution has had no impact on our planet…
