Emma Thompson Cancels Your Holiday

EMMA Thompson has hired Madonna’s fitness expert Tracy Anderson for a little extra help.

Anderson is based in Los Angeles, but has a studio in New York, and plans to build an international Anderson brand.

Thompson has joined impressionist Alistair McGowan, Conservative Party green adviser Zac Goldsmith, a Dr Simon Lewis, Greenpeace director John Sauven. Liberal Democrat frontbencher Susan Kramer and Left-wing Labour MP John McDonnell in the purchase of land earmarked for a third runway at Heathrow airport.

They say they will never sell the football pitch-sized plot to airport owner BAA, threatening to hold up the runway for years.

The hope is that Anderson fails to make it to the UK and so share her keep-fit secrets with fat Brits.

Says Thompson:

“We’ll stop this from happening even if we have to move in and plant vegetables.”

She goes on to remind Britons that thanks to Anderson’s wonders she can fly first class across the Atlantic but they, being so very fat and whale like, should swim, row or do us all a favour and walk.
