“No, I won’t be sleeping with you tonight, Mickey.”
We are not told what Rourke said to trigger this reaction, nor of his response, only that he had taken sleeping pills to clam his nerves and was seen swigging champagne.
It’s all bit like listening to someone talking on a mobile phone: “Yes, Clive, the accounts are in Claudia’s cabinet…. No…. Jelly, Clive. The jelly.”
We can only imagine that the exchange went something like this:
Titmuss: “Hi, Mickey. It’s me, Abi.”
Rourke: “Hi, Angie.”

Rourke: “Eh?”
Abi: “Cheeky!”
Rourke: “Urrrrhffghff??”
Abi: (loudly) “No, I won’t be sleeping with you tonight, Mickey.”

Rourke reels away. Abi tosses head back and laughs.

Rachel Wood puts in a wonderful performance in The Wrestler, in fact she is so lovely that I wished the film was called The Lapdancer and that I got to see a lot more of Rachel and a little less of Mickey….I don’t know about you…but.his lips scare me.
As for Abi Titmuff…well I am sure there is a non-league football team somewhere who would love to shag her….she just needs to keep looking….has she tried Scarborough?
