JADE Goody celebrity cancer: Jade come home…
The Sun: “Hold On”
“Going home to die, stricken Jade clings to hubby Jack’s hand…saving strength for the last precious moments with her sons”
“Mummy’s Home”
She was carried to the ambulance wearing multi-coloured pyjamas with a Love Heart sweet pattern…
Facts.
Jade’s homecoming means Jack, 21, can stay with her much longer. Until now he has had to leave her hospital bedside by 5pm to get home to Buckhurst Hill, Essex, before his 7pm curfew.
Daily Mail: “’Pale and weak but relieved to be back’: Jade Goody arrives home to spend final days with her sons”
Jade Goody has returned to her Essex home to die surrounded by her family.
Her extended family.
Yesterday morning the 27-year-old was seen wrapped in a red blanket as she was wheeled on a trolley into an ambulance outside the Royal Marsden Hospital in west London.
More facts:
In the show, being screened on Living tonight, Goody wipes her eyes as she says: ‘If I die, (I’m) gonna miss all this’…
The couple plan their wedding vows, including the line: ‘I will be your everlasting, eternal love.’
Asked whether they prefer ‘everlasting’ or ‘eternal’, she says: ‘Everlasting. What’s better because I’m dying?”
Daily Mirror – Coleen Nolan: “Brave Jade Goody reveals real meaning of love”
I wept this week reading about Jade and her sons’ christenings.
That fractured wrist hurting?
Jade is a world-class example of the selflessness of a mother’s love
The Mirror: “How hospices help people like Jade Goody in their final days”
Is there anyone like Jade? If there is – and you’d like to be the new Jade – call 0800MaxClifford now!
Jade Goody’s cancer battle has made many of us rethink our own attitudes to death.
Tip 1. Get - An - Agent.
Seeing Jade preparing for her own death is the public face of a trauma that many people face privately each year.
That’s right. People die. Every year.
The Times: “Building the Olympic Dream; Jade: Bride to Be”
Tim Teeman makes a link many have overlooked.
Last week BBC Two’s brilliant series Building the Olympic Dream, featured a new star in Martin Green, the head of Olympic ceremonies, fag in hand and trying to oversee the planning and execution of the eight minutes of the closing ceremony of the Beijing Games given over to promoting London 2012: a wincing story of creative tensions and red buses becoming hedges.
Smoking. Is there a link to, you know… Jade’s cancer?
Instead, we watched her buy her wedding dress, talk about the colour of her tights, teeth whitening, the vows she wanted to exchange. The gravity of her illness was visible but unspoken. From a journalistic point of view, that was frustrating, but it was soothing to see ordinariness — giggling, laughing, padding about the house, the Marie Curie nurses in the kitchen — rather than the blaring emotion that those headlines played out.
Rutland & Stamford Mercury: “FOOTBALL: Daniels sign Ryan Amoo”
STAMFORD have moved to avert a potential midfield crisis by signing ex-Northampton and Lincoln City playmaker Ryan Amoo…
Manager Dougie Keast swooped to sign the 25-year-old - who once dated reality television star Jade Goody…
Is Amoo’s love life a factor in his signing, an attempt to celeb up the Stamfs?

“How do you know ? People dont always want the world to know when they
give”
I think you may find, if you look closely at some newspapers and one or two magazines, that Mrs Tweed wants everyone to know everything about her. I cannot see a highly paid publicist such as she has employed missing out on the chance for the sort of canonisation she would receive if it became known that she had donated even a tiny amount of the millions she has been given to the Royal Marsden and the Hospice Movement.

Dear Cheryl,
my cat has,nt come home…..my fillings have fallen out….someone stole my car ….my business just went bust…. my piles are punishing me… and my wife has just run off with my best friend ( gee I’m going to miss him)….so your kind philosophy is just what I needed to cheer me up…thanks for being so caring.
Have a lovely weekend….

You know, Percy, when people are exposed to someone’s dying/death it can be quite depressing, as that forces one to face the fact that one day they too will die. I’m going to be off here for the weekend so I’ll leave you a little saying a friend writes at the end of their emails or letters to people: “Enjoy this Day - It is Your Life.”
March 12th, 2009 at 11:35 pm
Lets hope and pray it never happens to any of you hey.

ecky thump indeed…I never thought Bill Oddie would be so affected by Jade Goody dying. See Cheryl…. it seems that its getting to us all.
March 12th, 2009 at 10:28 pm
Talking of which, I’ve just read that Bill Oddie has been admitted into hospital for depression. Ecky thump! But who is Britain’s favourite sick Goody?
There’s only one way to find out……..

She has taken Diana’s crown, Jade Goody is the new queen of hearts - God bless the Goodies, one and all!
March 12th, 2009 at 4:43 pm
Trust me, you won’ miss out on her final moments, even if not physically present. Just stayed tuned to your TV and radio stations and buy your local newspapers. You can hear or read all about her final hour in minute detail, I’m sure.

Bye bye jade
March 12th, 2009 at 2:37 pm
No hooting or jeering, Cheryl. Just a dignified round of applause. A standing ovation maybe…especially if Jack’s ran out of chairs.
March 12th, 2009 at 2:35 pm
Cheryl, arrangements have been made but the price of tickets is way beyond the means of the general public
March 12th, 2009 at 2:06 pm
Cheryl, no one’s actually said, as far as I remember, that they want Jade to die, but we are all a bit fed up hearing about it. Isn’t it called “Compassion Fatigue” or something?
March 12th, 2009 at 12:48 pm
It is a pity that arrangements can’t be made for you fine cynics to be present at Jade Goody’s moment of death. You can stand around her death bed and hoot and jeer as you listen to the death rattle as she draws her last breath.

Peter Mac…you do not know that…the majority give charity anonymously to hopefully help people like Jade Goody…just because you just don’t read about it in the papers does not mean it is not a reality.
Now will you kindly join me….in my good mourning group puke session…after me..remember we are doing this for Jade Goody so put your stomach into it

And how people like Jade Goody make millions and then give nothing back.
