PITY “poor Suri Cruise”, the “fashion victim”. The Mail tells its readers:
How poor Suri Cruise has become a style victim at just three years of age
Lydia Slater looks on, with pity:
Poor little Suri. Not for her the wonderful freedom of going out in electric pink and a plastic tiara (as any parent of a toddler will know, their own taste in clothes is resolutely chavvy), and God forbid she drips any ice-cream down her costly frocks.
The Daily Mail is appalled. In other Daily Mail reports:
* “Shiloh looked cuter than ever dressed in sneakers, corduroy trousers and a furry brown hooded jacket.”
* “Despite the chilly winter weather, which hovered around zero degrees yesterday, determined Suri looked happy without a coat as she larked around in her brown velvet dress and leggings.”
The toddler was also wearing her trademark style staple - buckled ballet pumps. As Suri practised her martial arts along the street, her 30-year-old mother had her hands full carrying her designer handbag, a Paddington Bear teddy and a £140 My Little Travelwrap cashmere blanket.
* “The toddler, who has become something of a fashionista despite her tender years, looked adorable in a blue ball gown and bare feet and was all smiles…”
* “Suri, dressed in a warm woolen grey coat, silver ballet shoes and a purple dress…”
* “Even though she’s only two, Suri Cruise is already famous for her immaculate tailoring.”
But last night she sported a distinctly baggier look, wearing a blue coat that appeared a couple of sizes too big for her.
* “Suri Cruise looks every bit the daddy’s girl in a beautiful red dress and silver shoes.”
* “She may be just two years old, but Suri Cruise is already developing an appreciation for fashion and culture.”
The toddler was spotted admiring the array of tutus backstage after watching The Nutcracker at the New York City Ballet with mother Katie Holmes…
Suri’s outfit was rather impressive too - she was dressed in a bright red frock, matching Mary-Jane shoes and a £250 coat from American childrenswear firm Best & Co.
* “With her new pageboy bob, and blue and white polka dot dress, two-year-old Suri held the rather large umbrella at a jaunty angle…”
* Suri has proved herself the world’s youngest fashionista, with her eye-catching outfits and glamorous party dresses
* “The blanket in question is the must-have accessory for young children - the £140 My Little Travelwrap.”
Made with cosy cashmere, the blanket came all the way from one of the finest mills in Scotland… only the best for Suri.
* “It’s not easy being a fashion icon, especially at the age of just two years old. But Suri Cruise is making child’s play of it, as she stepped out in a brilliant winter white princess coat to meet her adoring public.”
* “Suri wore a red dress, which Katie co-ordinated with a fashionable tartan tunic.”
* “At just two-and-a-half-years-old she is probably one of the youngest fashion icons of her day.”
Poor Suri - Why do they stare?

Having been a Scientologist myself, I can say without a doubt that only the introductory lecture is free. Everything else costs hundreds, hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars in “training” and “going clear” etc. Any church that charges its members hundreds or thousands or millions of dollars is not a valid religion in my estimation. All religion should be made available to anyone who wants it– FREE.
I am very CLEAR on this issue.
Scientology may call the money a donation but if you don’t have the money, you don’t get the “training”. In my experience, they also made it clear to my partner whom I was living with that he should break up with me. We were both Scientologists at the time, but if one of the “higher” leaders advises you to do something, you obey without question or its on to the “E-Meter” you go to find out what is wrong with you. Training can be withheld if you don’t agree with them and they are completely against medication of any kind even an aspirin. This can be good in some cases and deadly in others. In other words, they are in control of your life telling you that you are in control. Hmmmmm.

Face - I don’t have one, so you have drawn a blank there I’m afraid.
but I do object to people enforcing their beliefs on others and that extends to parents with their children..
it’s my opinion - the child looks miserable - you can like it or lump it.

they stare because they want to know what sort of psychological damage will be inflicted on this child by her father’s unhealthy obsession with Scientology - at such a young age she already looks as sad and submissive as her mother….
