   Michael complained about his childhood upbringing and the lack of love.hugs.and kisses etc, but left his three children with even less after being covered with veils blankets and face masks all there life they dont now even have a Mum.    I think they HAVE to do something for the fans, but this is similar to Jade and the outpouring of mournporn over Diana too. Don’t know if you saw when the Queen Mother died the mourning was very dignified, but people queued dry eyed for hours and hours in freezing temperatures…there wasn’t any angst and no drama, but a lot of respect for the deceased, the family and the nation.

   I have noticed the Civil Rights person Jesse Jackson has stepped out of the Joe limelight.

   Have to say Joe Jackson didn’t seem grief stricken - relatives of mine lost a youngish daughter and they were devastated at her loss, I know it takes people different ways, but planning the future isn’t an option for the children, just protecting them was

    The Will drawn up in 2002 has been produced by his lawyer and will be filed in Probate Court. You can bet Joe is upset - he was picturing some of whatever money was left after paying the multi millions worth of bills coming his way since there supposedly was no Will! When in fact under the Will he gets zilch!

    When it was announced at first no Will I found that quite strange and wondered who in the Jackson family threw it out. Michael Jackson had lawyers coming out the ying yang I knew a lawyer would have had him draw up a Will if for no other reason than to take financial care of his children upon his death.

    Just wondering because Joe said there was no Will etc , if the one actually that is the Last W&T stated Joe was not to be involved?
    I can only imagine MJ would be adamant his father was not to be involved, but are his parents divorced? Its going to be difficult otherwise.

    I think MJ’s great wealth kept him from being sectioned, anyone on a normal income with his apparent issues would be having a ghastly time without therapy of some sort, and I do wonder what some of the meds in the tox reports will be, but then we may never know.

    But I think he’s finding peace now, from himself as well as us.

    Just hope the funeral isn’t too ostentatious, the idea of a glass coffin…

    I think most children see their childhood as normal. I think it was the Onassis daughter who was asked what it was like to be so rich and she said she’d never known anything different so it was normal to her.
    To live in wealth in Manhattan or poverty in Mogadishi is normal if you have no comparison.
    Jacksons kids will see their upbringing as pretty okay even if we may not IMO.
    Are they his? Of course they are! to deny this because they may not be his genetically is to deny parentage of all adopted/AID/Surrogate babies everywhere.

    I think MJ tried to neutralise himself sexually and racially because of his background. People react to violence/abuse in many different way. This was his way.
    I think we should let him be and hope the children receive all the help available to cope with their loss. (including keeping them away from Daddy Jackson and his plans to put them on the stage as the New Jacksons)

    Most people focus that Michael Jackson changed the color of his skin to try to be Caucasian. However, stop and think about all the other entertainers over time who made themselves ‘unique’ looking in various ways: Marilyn Manson; Liberace, the famous entertainer/pianist he would come on stage in long flowing capes with feathers or fur on them; the many famous entertainers and sportsmen who have tattoos put on their bodies to make a their own statement one might say we are famous and some to look unique; look at my favourite group from over there still with long hair, tight jeans and strut their stuff around the stage in their 60’s. Look at the really weird looking rock groups over time - all making themselves ‘unique’ looking to be remembered by.

    I have never thought MJ was changing his appearance to try and be White, I truthfully always felt he was trying to make himself different looking above all the other entertainers. However, I do think he had serious psychological problems that drove him to the point of looking ‘freakish’ when attempting to make himself look ‘different.’

    Given your family circumstances I thought you could appreciate that there could be some issues facing MJ’s children in particular, granted it would be a whole lot easier if we were talking Swedish and Spanish nationals or Indian and Chinese.
    Neither of us being fans of his, and he is headline news and his circumstances do vary from the bizarre to the tragic, we were bound to discuss all aspects. I’m just keeping quiet on the possible drug use until the tox results, and he was cleared of child abuse, but being who he was could be seen as a sitting duck, and likely was with the huge payment he made

    MJ will obviously take all his secrets to his grave. As I have said I’m not a fan, but have felt some curiosity and sympathy for his lifestory as he does live it very much in the public eye albeit heavily masked and disguised. A man of contradictions

    My only issues with colour are paintwork in and on the house and the car and my hair, and a pale gold for golden retrievers

    June, I owe you a public apology - you know damn well I know you are NOT! I was sitting writing you an email asking you to stop feeding me lines to respond back on.

    For those who don’t know but June does - I have bi-racial children I adopted years ago when they were new born infants - Black father and White mother - neither looks as if they have a drop of Black blood in them as they have grown. However, I’ve raised them making certain they knew of their Black heritage and to be proud of it. They are quite open with their friends - Black, Caucasian, Asian and Muslim friends - they are half Black. They have brought Caucasian girl friends home and Black girl friends home over they years and my reaction to that? I could care less of they were green with purple dots as long as they were nice girls.

    what I said was a statement of fact - he was paler than many people currently coming back off their holidays - what is racist about that?

    Very simply, Michael Jackson was an entertainer and deliberately made himself look different.

    Michael Jackson’s parent have not lived together for years, the news announced. The father lives in Las Vegas and the mother in CA. Michael Jackson’s Will left custody of his children solely to her. She filed for guardianship of the children in court in her own name only.

    Please don’t turn this into a matter of racism as it isn’t, it should be possible to discuss major issues that these children could face if brought up by the Jackson family alone; MJ is a product of his parents aspirations/ dreams etc and life for him seems to have been somewhat of a nightmare, is it wise therefore to risk allowing them to repeat the exercise on his children.
    He clearly had problems with maturity and his cultural heritage, and rejected both, somewhere in the genepool the children have inherited is either the tendency to bully and harrass a child up or to reject the upbringing completely - hence my observation that the blood family are NOT the best option to bring these children up to healthy adulthood, and their mixed race can only add to their problems in this instance as their father clearly rejected his own race.

    This has nothing to do with white supremacy or BNP or the KKK, I have to say that as you did introduce the challenge of racism to me

    Cheryl, I’m not really interested in MJ, I wasn’t a fan nor an admirer, but he opted to be a single parent, and whatever the childrens race colour creed etc, he was a strange person, and whoever has the task of bringing them up now has an onerous one.

    As to MJ ’s rejection of his own race, he didn’t have to say a word, his altered appearance spoke volumes

    Cheryl - I think June is right - it is not about the exposure the children have had to both black and white races, but the confusing fact that their father seemed to be trying to make himself into something he was not.

    Michael Jackson may never have claimed to be white, but his actions spoke much louder than his words…. I think a lot of people were confused by this aspect of his personality and therefore surely his kids at some point will ask the question themselves - why, when he was such a good looking young black man, did he want to make himself into a white surgically-enhanced freak….?

    June, there are no laws that state a Black or a Caucasian has to relate to their respective race. People today of all races have a mixture of friends, business acquaintances and even relatives of other races and many more couples today are entering into mixed marriages. Bi-racial children can choose any heritage they want to to relate to. One can decide to relate more closely to their Black heritage and one can choose to relate to their White heritage. MJ didn’t just keep his children solely around Whites - relatives, body guards, multitude of friends of Michael Jackson were Black. You’ll take note in his Entertainment Group when he gave his concerts all most all were Black. They were exposed to both Whites and Blacks. They knew their grandparents and aunts and uncles were Black. They knew their Dad was Black and their mother White. I don’t believe we’ll find anywhere where it is written or spoken by Michael Jackson claiming to be White.

    If one believes only half of what Michael Jackson has stated publicly about the brutality of his father, being robbed of his childhood, then one can understand what drove Michael Jackson through the years to be ‘odd’ or not normal according to most people’s standards of what normal is, He has to have had a deep loathing for his father to have spoken out for all to hear of his horrible treatment at his father’s hands. Was his slowly turning his skin and features to Caucasian a FU to his Dad - I’ll make my own world to live in and look anyway I want and be respected and famous.

    The Will is out and he didn’t leave his father a penny but took care of his mother. We all see what his dad is like - using a program his dead son is being honoured at to announce he is starting a record company.

    I meant that the children could be very confused by their father’s rejection of his own race, normally multi racial children have one parent of one race and one of another, or even of mixed race, but not an own invention thats neither one thing or another.

    A lot of us are uncomfortable with MJ’s re-creation of himself and his heritage, a small child would accept it as normal, until maturity.

    June, over here the laws are very strong on keeping family units together and those children will not be placed with total strangers to raise them, when there are any family members who are willing to take them, including Debbie Rowe. Despite their Grandparents ages, which I think will go against them since they are approaching 80, there are over 2.5 million grandparents in the US today raising their Grandchildren. There are government/state programs in effect to help Grandparents where needed, i.e., financial aid, support system with other grandparents raising theirs, counselling if needed.

    I don’t know what you were trying to say because they are bi-racial it will need careful handling - those antiquated laws of Black children who are up for adoption or need to be placed temporarily in a foster home had to be placed with Black families are long off the books over here. Debbie Rowe being White will not even be a factor in whether or not she is suitable to have those bi-racial children. Bi-racial children have no special problems, June, it is those people who are racist and believe the shit White Supremacists preach about Blacks are the ones who have the problem.
