Eva Mendes In Vogue Toe Job
EVA Mendes is a Hollywood actress who looks like a cross between Charlton Heston and a Cheeky Girl.
This photograph appears in Italian Vogue. It shows Eva sucking her toe.
In parts of Italy this may well be alluring; in others it may be a sign that the streets are clean and a symbol of civic pride, especially in those regions bordering Switzerland.
In another still, a pair of feet, possible belonging to Mendes – who seems flexible – are pressed against her bosom. Is this new form of therapy? Or something more sinister, a metaphor for Mendes struggle to be taken a serious actress?
Explanations as to why Mendes is behaving so, and should allow herself to be photographed in such positions to the usual address…

In the spirit of scientific enquiry I have conducted a trial run, first having washed my feet, and it’s actually very easy to suck one’s big toe.
Boring, but easy.
Why anyone should want to do so is not amenable to empirical analysis…

Gloria, I didn’t invite a camera man.
Sucking my big toe is one thing, recording it for posterity is quite another.
On the other foot, perhaps Eva feels that toes are the mark of the serious actress, and is hoping that when the casting call for Kafka goes out, she will be summoned..
