Roger Took: How The Media Treated The Establishment Paedophile
PAEDO! What does he look like in the mainstream media. A socially inept, unkempt loon. But:
Depravity exists and we are all aware that there are dangerous paedophiles at large. However, what is remarkable about Took’s case is that his respectability and status blinded some who knew him to the true horror of his crimes and, to an extent, protected him from the public outrage that normally follows the exposure of such appalling acts against children. Took’s sentencing was followed by one UK internet news report and a single paragraph in a side column of the Saturday edition of the Times. Compare that with the enormous publicity and accompanying outcry following the conviction of 64-year-old Arthur Morley, jailed indefinitely just two weeks ago for having the ‘worst child porn collection ever found in Britain’, according to several news agencies, including the BBC, ITN and Sky. Morley was very publicly slated whereas Took’s high profile as an art historian of note means that some are still unwilling or unable to believe the full extent of how dangerous he is. After his conviction, one of his woman friends emailed Took’s wife, Pat, saying, ‘I choose God’s way and I know He would forgive Roger… We have no right to judge and to destroy a person’s life when he wants to live a different life.’ The woman clearly could not, or chose not to, grasp the destruction Took himself had wreaked.

What seems to emerge from the whole article is that Took’s ego was, and is, so monumental that he regarded, and no doubt still regards, everyone around him as being simply objects to be used in whatever way he saw fit.
One point strikes me; his personal vanity.
Even in the chat rooms he pretended that his step-grandchildren were his own daughters; to admit to the existence of grandchildren would make him seem old.
Josef Fritzl, an old man, is shown in the pictures taken when he visited Thailand to abuse children there, with the hairstyle of a young man.
Perhaps that is some hint of what is going on inside their minds…
Ludicrous, but hinting at the vanity which Took also possesses.

The only previous reference to this appalling catalogue of crimes I’d seen was a very lengthy article in The Spectator online. Well done, Anorak. BTW I couldn’t read beyond the first page on The Spectator - felt sickened beyond belief.

Thankfully Roger Took can be now be found on Wikipedia this followed a ‘Womens Hour’ radio program where Took’s wife Pat related her story of shock and amazement of his crimes and media silence.
Thank you Anorak.

Memo to Roger: When you leave prison, there are thousands of well armed people who will gladly blow your fucking head off. If I ever meet you, I will ensure that justice is properly served. You are a fucking monster and you deserve to die, very painfully. And, there are people who will ensure that wherever you live, the address of your personal dwelling will be publicly known. This is not a threat, merely a statement of fact. Every ounce of pain that you have inflicted to innocent children will be known to you and multiplied infinitely. I hope other inmates in the prison in which you find yourself offer you a daily dose of what’s to come.

Regarding the previous message:
I think you’ve just about summed up the sentiment and feeling of every decent, law abiding citizen out there.
The sentences given to these perverts beggars belief.
A guy can rob a bank and get 10 to 15 years.
But when a guy rapes a child or even has images of it, well you all know.
Frankly, not only would I shoot this evil creature, I’d also get him to tell me more about his ‘buddies’ out there.
Another question. Is he a Freemason? He certainly fit’s the mould, rich, powerful, arrogant, etc. they look after their own!

I´m writing this with tears in my eyes… how disturbing it is to read of this monster´s crime! I´m not only sad for those lives he has ruined but also very, very angry because there seems to be no way of preventing Took from getting out after 4 years or so, so he can continue his filthy “livestyle”. Let´s hope he gets what he deserves in prison.

Another question: Are the media-owners Freemasons? They certainly fit the mould, rich, powerful, arrogant, etc. they look after their own!

With regard to the extraordinary level of protection afforded to this evil degenerate I thought your readers might be interested to note that the website of the Perseus Books Group still has Took happily living in London, & a much respected author & traveller. & his travel book ‘Running with Reindeer’ is still being happily promoted on their website.
I find this quite mind-boggling & rahter frightening .
Also re being extra careful and not dismissing the unthinkable as just that - has anyone else noticed some of the weird choices made by the Beeb no less for their Book at Bedtime slot? Perhaps I’m being paranoid but there were two in short succession whose main plot was the abduction and abuse of young girls.
