Inside Cho Seung-Hui’s Closet
WHY Cho Seung-Hui did it: reason No 32109b – “GAY RAGE”.
It turns out that after telling the world why he did it in a long rambling series of videos, the Virginia Tec killer was a “closet homosexual”.
The Enquirer says the 23-year-old mass murderer spent his weekend at Backstreet Café, Roanoke, Virginia.
Says the café’s owner: “There is nothing mixed about the customers at Backstreet Café. Our clientele are gay men and lesbians, and we have a great time on Saturday nights with underwear parties, drag queens and drag kings.”
And, as the story goes, potential mass murderers.
And this is not all. As if you need any more proof, the Enquirer says the name of Cho’s imaginary supermodel lover – Jelly – could have come from a cosmetic line Jelly Pong Pong, which is “popular among gays”.
Had NBC only know this before it broadcast those tapes of Cho demanding attention and getting it.
“He was a silent but deadly erupting volcano, and it was gay rage that eventually caused him to snap,” says “famed psychologist” Dr Lillian Glass, fresh from her stint as the Enquirer’s “body language expert” in matters Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes (neither of whom are believed to have known Cho).
Forensic psychiatrist Helen Morrison tells us: “The focus on the sexuality of females was only masking what appears to have been a tremendous fear that he was not truly attracted to females.”
This is, apparently, supported by Chastity Faye, an escort who spent an hour in a hotel with Cho last month.
“I danced for little while and I thought we were done because he got up and went to the restroom and began washing,” says she. But he came back into the room - “I started dancing and that’s when he…touched me and tried to get on me and that’s when I pushed him away.”
Because he was gay, right? Chastity does not say. And we are left wondering what else he was or wasn’t.
Lots more to follow…

this is the most idiotic rationale I have heard. You say that “gay rage” made seung hui do this… oh come on. If that were true, then you’d see killings ALL THE TIME. Lots and lots of closet gays out there, and they don’t pick up guns and plan out killings. There’s much more to why he chose to end his life in such a violent and tragic way. We’ll never know exactly why, but definitely some of it is jerky people being mean and laughing at a shy kid who could not speak up. If he did go to Backstreet Cafe, then I don’t see the big deal. Even if he was fighting with his sexuality, that’s no different than what any young and maybe confused guy would be doing. In my mind, he was socially behind, learning about life much later (because of extreme shyness and some paranoia) than others.

because of not knowing the real reason people like you try to make reasons why he did it, what a jerk. Seung is a normal handsome young man, he is attracted to opposite sex and not gay but unfortunately girls snobs him. IF ONLY ONE OF THEM TRY TO NOTICE HIM IT WON’T HAPPEN HE NEEDS TO FEEL HE IS LOVED AND NEEDED. if only the girls in vt are not snobs.WILL YOU JUST STOP MAKING STORIES, YOUR SICK!

i dont think that he killed 33 people because he was gay.
theres heaps of people that are gay and none of them are trying to go and kill their friends.
this is absurd.
he did not kill because he was gay….well…at least i dont think he did

Lourna - “a normal handsome young man”! Who do hang out with?

ok…it is so sad that the media is still fishing for WHY the shooter did THIS, instead of focusing efforts on how we can help the survivors get though the aftermath. And the media is fishing for answers and coming up with hypothesis to sell magazines rather than helping people. How will the survivors benefit from knowing the shooter was gay? So what? Is that going to help us prevent this scenario? NO!
How about we stop the blame because that’s what caused this in the first place. If people just tried to be nice (why is it so hard to be nice these days?) this wouldnt happen. So, move on, start a fresh new page…stop bullying at school, stop discrimination and in your everyday life seek a comprimise instead of destroying things just because things are not done your way…try to be tolerant, patient and understanding. If you see someone hurt or notice your friend is not him/herself don’t just walk away and say “I don’t want to be involved”. Do something. I know it’s hard because your lazy but it’s better than having a massacre.

Maybe none of the survivors or relatives of the killed want to come forward and tell their stories, to be partronised by the media? Which just leaves Cho…

The only thing gay is this “gay rage theory”. There’s no logical basis for that whatsoever.

You know, I saw this same speculation on a tabloid in the store today. If he was gay, I wouldn’t be shocked at all. I know quite a few “gay” men that are in jail because they did horrific things to my friends. Gay men are just as able to commit terrible crimes are straight men. They are like EVERYONE else and are no different. Whether Cho was gay or not doesn’t matter, because people are still dead because of him. Innocent lives are lost because someone was pissed.

Way to go throwing stuff like this out there so people like the lovely “God Hates Fags” group goes ape and is eyeballing every gay man walks the face of the earth.
This scoop was in that rag called “GLOBE” so ya know there’s alot of truth to it.
If that guy was gay it certainly didn’t lead him to murdering 32 people. What ya going to tell us next he dated McGreavey? Stop it.

Well judgeing from the evidence of the video’s he kept reffering to “You” and he said something about that “You” being perfect and having a mercedez so maybe Cho was gay and was in love with a guy and watching him from afar maybe..he decided to come out to the guy and was rejected and maybe..he did have an abnormal mental state and due to that rejection he went crazy and started killing you know like “If I cant have him no one will” He didnt do it because he was gay he did it because he felt rejected which anyone even straight people can be rejected and have bad mental problems.

I aggree with your theory Trevor I aggree with all of it but that doesnt explain the hotel dancer. Maybe he was bisexual and was rejected by a guy that he loved.

Cho was my ex…he was so good in bed made me scream all night
May 11th, 2007 at 11:15 pm
Dont you even say that Pamela! You know you stole Cho from me you B*tch!

are you that desparate to sell the magazines?
how can a ‘psychologist’ make a diagnosis for a ‘psychiatric’ patient when only ‘psychiatrist’ can make a diagnosis? and wth hell is forensic psychologist? is this a sick joke?
plus i bless, and have pity for those who have passed us, however as far as the reasoning goes, its only an assumption. A psychiatric patient goes to a bar that is popular for homosexuals. A PSYCHIATRIC PATIENT. WOW guys..

He was not gay, he liked women. Stop making up this garbage about him, he doesn’t like it. Plus this is considered slander.
I know gay people and their not violent, they’re really nice. Ones sexuallity shouldn’t be a factor in how people are judged, personality should be.
