David Icke thinks he's possibly a prophet & he has been seen in the occasional shell suit....but could he have been right about Sir Jimmy Saville all along?...is this a sign?

ironic isn't it - one of the few people to speak out about Jimmy Savile and his activities is decried because he made a prat of himself in his turquoise shell suit.
I have heard about the necrophiliac rumours - exceptionally unpleasant. He also, allegedly, had his own keys to Broadmoor... why was that deemed necessary, you might ask? Unfortunately I think this story has a lot more to run....Posted 7 months ago # -
I read some rumours about him and had to Google one of the words, which made me wish I hadn't bothered.
I have to say, I'm sick of his leering, pervy face looking at me from Anorak and my Facebook news feed. It gives me the creeps.

if this report is true it seems Saville might have claimed another abused victim from beyond the grave...shame it had to be Esther Rantzen.

If she only heard rumours, I feel sorry for her being sacked. I suppose it just depends what she actually knew.

I think that's unfair - from what I can gather, what she heard/knew occurred before she got involved with the child abuse campaigns. She has done a lot of incredible work with Childline over the years and she wasn't the only one to have heard things or even witnessed things about Savile and either said nothing or said something and not been believed. She was also one of the first "celebrities" to come out and condemn him when the allegations first arose via the ITV programme. Too much too late or better late than never?

No you are all right, to some degree.
Sir James Wilson Vincent Savile, OBE, KCSG - "Smelly Old Git" to his more mature victims - was not alone. Others covered up because of easy sexual favours, career ambitions or fear of disclosure. There are other forms of predatory sexual abuse and career leg ups:
The reference below dates eight years after the fact. Eight years of clandestine bumping the uglies or as Wilcox described his soirees with Rantzen "urgent" talks. That's life: Esther Rantzen broke my mother's heart
The Wilcox children were less than amused. If there had been a Childline then - and knowing what the principal's principles were - they may have not used it.

Thanks. I' e been dithering about what to do with the forum on the new site... Looks like we need one. But with better security.
