Do we keep the forum? Why not a submit button to suggest stories? Or - if you prefer - Karen, Yammy, Percy, Winker, Mr Man, Charlie, Dairy and many more can post with limited access? The tech says the forum is a lot of a trouble - get a load of the spam. But you all keep me going. When you point to great story, it's a terrific bonus. What to do?

I,for one, will miss the forum but then I also miss the original Anorak. Most of the regular posters seem to have long gone.... Maybe its time to move on.

I like the forum (well, I did before all the spam) because you can just chat about nothing in particular. You can't really do that on the main page.

I like the forum, too. Percy - I know. The new site is pretty much done. I think keep the forum and put a link to it in the new sidebar.

Maybe. I think it wold require a new forum. The thing is that before the forum, people talked in comments... The site worked better. Then a few wallies came and spoilt the forum by spotting bile. I had no time to watch it. Comments I can see better...

Yep - she;s fine. Forum fatigue... I think emailing and comments on site is the way to go... I am, of course, desperate to keep you all on site and tipping...

count me in - I'll be there whatever, but I would miss the Forum. As Karen said, it's easier just for chatting and nobody on the Forum tends to get their knickers in a twist in the way some of them do on the site. Slapping down the twats on the main site is fun - sometimes - but the Forum is like a nice relaxing lounge where you can put your virtual feet up for a bit....

Well as my last submission got deleted from the forum (unless a gremlin ate it), I'd say giving me the ability to post directly to the website is probably not a good idea
