Bali Bombers: Obituary

    Executed Bali nightclub bombers Ali Ghufron, 48, alias Mukhlas his brother Amrozi Nurhasyim, 47, and right Imam Samudera - alias Abdul Aziz - the ringleader, seeing the funny side of it while talking to journalists in jail last week.

    They committed 202 senseless murders. As Muslim militants they actively sought martyrdom and five years after a death sentence they met firing squads in a jungle clearing.
    Their Maker is unlikely to be merciful… the lowest level of the Islamic Hell is a cauldron of boiling pitch. They may boil for an eternity.

    It is 'frightening' when you actually look at those smiling faces and bright eyes. You could pass them on the street and furtherst from your mind would be those are cold-blooded murderers who somehow or somewhere learned to hate all of us with such a passion they cold bloodedly massacred and then go smiling to their own deaths.

    And that is exactly the thinking that goes on when Islamic heroes are offered virgins in the hereafter.
