It's not the first time that the use of condoms has caused a split in the faithful. Followed by a change of parish usually

none, why? that won't stop him, he's infallible and some churchgoers are extremely gullible

You are correct, June, but in his mind and the hierarchy of the Church's minds only he is infallible in what he preaches on behalf of the Church. However, what is frightening are many of the AIDS churchgoers who will believe what he preached and will not use condoms but not give up sex ... Over here the news reported this morning on the many countries' leaders throughout the world speaking out against the Pope and what he said.

His Holiness seems to be a bit of a loose cannon and upsetting the canons.

June, the hierarchy of the Church from Pope, Cardinals and Bishops should be put away in an old age home and the doors locked from the outside. The 'old boys network' is a 'geriatric network' in the church. Look back, they have never elected a young Pope, Cardinals have one foot in the grave, Bishops not too far behind... They keep it that way to keep conning the believers with what they preach as 'God's law', which really isn't God's law, it is their 'man made laws' and Catholics don't stop and think and realize that.

I miss little Karol. I'm fairly sure the Catholic Church does too, now.
