It's a well known fact that Bill Kenwright, Chairman of Everton and Musical Impressario, appeared in Coronation St as Gordon 'Clegg'. Nick 'Clegg' is the name of the leader of the Lib Dems who unsuccessfully fought the council elections in Rothley and Mountsorrel, losing out to the BNP. Could this be a cynical attempt by the lib dems to curry favour in the ward? I leave you to draw your own conclusions
