Anorak, you do a fantastic job beyond compare of covering aspects of the news based on facts and putting shame on the fairy tales and fiction many newspapers write. However, as you strive to publish nothing but the 'best' have you given thought to the possible inferiority complexes you could be causing many?

You are my morning bible reading. However, I open up to the front page and what do I see more and more day after day? Perfect boobs and butts!

Where have the days gone to when women had the attitude 'what you see is what you get' and men didn't expect any more or any less? Yes women are known to put aside money for a rainy day or for those little extra special treats for themselves. Goodness, don't know about the other ordinary women but I sure don't have $5,000 tucked away in my penny jar to go out and buy the perfect boobs or butt.

So, if you don't mind below is my contribution on behalf of the 'real women' in this world!

Nice thinking Cheryl. Nothing in life is perfect, therefore there are no perfect boobs or butts. Every lady has an admirer even if she doesn't know it, so you are not competing with perfection. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and admirers know this, so ladies don't even think about having any ops. Anorak some manly pics for the girls maybe?

Robertcarter, you are indeed a true gentleman and could capture many a women's heart with the words you write!

However, some of us women on here have come close to 'begging' Anorak for pics of manly men but alas that begging has fallen on deaf ears for years.

Unfortunately, manly pics of the real men may well be in the past, also. The other week Yampster posted a newspaper article on here about a country men can fly to and also receive 'enhancement' surgery for the perfect one.

What is strange that its the 20 and 30's somethings that are having all the repair jobs, at that age nothing worried me, these days I'd happily pay someone to diet for me.

But seriously, these girls are in their prime and they are insecure enough to flock for cosmetic enhancements, wonder how they will cope with the mature version?

yeah come Anorak, find some nice lads for us ladies to ogle and drool over

  6. Though I am a man of mature years ( hard to believe from my posts i know) I would willingly put aside my modesty and offer my services to Anokrak & art by posing provocatively for you lovely ladies to have a laugh at. However I would want paying for the privilege....all proceeds would be well spent on plastic surgery.. ..

I suppose an Anorak men version of the Full Monty is out of the question then.

What about one of those calendars that are all the rage.

Percy, a lady does not laugh at a man at what he has to 'offer'; nor does a lady pay a man for what he offers! Never did think you were a mere youth, Percy; thus, since you have confirmed my thoughts you are a mature man then consider it your contribution without pay to pose provocatively for Anorak's need to keep happy it's mature ladies!

  10. Cheryl, can I at least preserve my dignity....by posing with my wellies and freshly washed & ironed Y-Fronts on?
...or how about an Autumn Adonis like pose for Bat E Birds calendar boys...
Imagine it..if you dare....Percy.. with a large leaf.. or even...a mushroom over my manhood
    ...wearing only my anorak??

Imagine if I dare, Percy, you with a large leaf or even a mushroom covering...? You mean one of those large red mushrooms, or I've presumed they were mushrooms, in the pics on your website? Whatever you are comfortable with, Percy, I sure won't blush!

  12. oo...er...you might not be blushing but but I certainly am, dear Cheryl...
Methinks I need to sit and have a hot, sweet cup of tea to calm me down.

the Stilton bit, is it veined or apricot? one wonders as it might clash with the anorak

Now really, June, that exchange with dear Percy is just harmless word play the Brits taught me to enjoy when I hung around with them attending meetings over there several times a year for 7 years. Thus, blame it on the Brits - they bring the best of the worst out in me!

The Stilton bit is cheese, it comes either veined or apricot, but I do believe there is a cranberry version too. If you are a rich bugger you buy a whole cheese, scoop some out and spoon Port into it.

Its a good English tradition that leads onto gout

Just read about that cheese, June, out of curiousity. Goes back 300 years over there? Don't believe I ever ate any over there or may have not knowing it was Stilton. However, from I read it mentioned 'blue cheese' - if it has any taste at all like blue cheese I would not have eaten it.

Cheryl, I don't like blue cheese so I hate blue Stilton but I love white Stilton with cranberries.

Christmas just wouldn't be the same without it.

Mind you, it's not very good on toast. It doesn't melt the same as cheddar.

Nothing better than a lump of cheddar and a pint of scrumpy.

    Brie is my very favorite.

Charlie, the state of Wisconsin is famous for its Cheeses. Talk about cheddar cheese - never had any better Cheddar than from there.

Thanks June, I'll try it with creme fraiche. I'll bet that's good in jacket potatoes as well.

Real Cheaddar comes from Somerset, and Scrumpy is not proper Scrumpy unless it's had a dead rat put in it during the fermenting stage, thus giving it a bit of body.

    Me too, June.

I used to get a sandwich at a deli in DC, which had it on their menu, sliced ham or turkey, slices of brie, honey mustard and then heated. It was good.

Bought 1/2 gall of cider in Devon, the other half sneered at the so called 'low body' levels, amazing how he found his way under the table so quickly...
