Global Warming: The War On Mankind, and Australians

GLOBAL warming: “Every newborn baby in Australia represents a potent source of greenhouse gas emissions for an average of 80 years, not simply by breathing but by the profligate consumption of resources typical of our society.

“Far from showering financial booty on new mothers and rewarding greenhouse-unfriendly behaviour, a ‘baby levy’ in the form of a carbon tax should apply, in line with the ‘polluter pays’ principle,” - Professor Barry Walters, clinical associate professor of obstetric medicine at the University of Western Australia.

    Just as long as the powers that be don’t start taxing our dogs, I can at least sleep in peace (no more children on the horizon for us, at least - now dogs are another thing altogether and lets not even mention wolves!)

    My dog taxes me, but that’s a whole different thing.
    (Now look.. do you really have to crap at two in the morning hound?)
    Well at least she doesn’t do it on the carpet, we have a parrot for that.
    No wonder we never get visitors…. :)
