The news media in the UK is so biased towards the McCanns it’s unbelievable.

They are taking so called ‘expert’ advice who tend to discredit everything the Portuguese police say or do. Those McCanns have got all their mouthpieces out for them, telling how wonderful a mum Kate is, etc. Some mum eh, who will go leave the kids alone each night while she wines and dines with friends, in an unlocked apartment as well. And yet there are still idiots who defend them and try to make out it was not as bad as it was.

I hope the Portuguese police charge them with child endangerment for a start and don’t let them get away with that, because a little child is missing, and if these McCanns had been a poor family and did not have friends in high places like the McCanns do, they would certainly have been charged by now.

What happened to the music “Éverything I do” (and not look into my eyes- ) on Gerry’s site? Is the composer angry with the the Mccanns?
The Mccanns seem to start asking for money, a new fund, to pay their lawyers.
If it is true, I wish I sometimes could be that rude.

Yes it is strange that, when you have been sent all that money and there it sits waiting for what? to happen before they start spending it to look for Madeleine.

Anyone would know that in a case like an abduction (if that is really what it is) then time is of the essence.

Although the money is theirs to do with as they will under the terms of the Fund they appear to be hiding behind the trustees and saying the trustees wont let them use it for just anything in the search for Madeleine. Meanwhile, many people appear to believe the money was sent for the sole purpose of finding Madeleine.

Yet if they are charged with the death of Madeleine then that Fund money should be frozen until the outcome of the trial because if it proves they were involved in the disappearance of their daughter and they know where she is, then they personally will have been benefiting from the money knowing it to have been obtained with fraudulent statements by themselves although I suppose they could claim that they were not the ones that actually set it up, but if it came to that, I don’t think the public or the court would buy it.

Madeleine most likely has paid with her life.

They have paid by sacrificing their own dignity, their professional ethics and their own personal privacy.

So it looks like they are going to launch another Fund for the defence, although it is being reported that some rich benefactor is now going to give them money for their defence.

Have the McCanns actually paid for anything themselves so far?

They should also be prosecuted for said fraud as well, but don’t doubt the Macs will have an answer for that as well. Gerry has said it was his brother that started the Fund, so perhaps he will make out it was nothing to do with him although he is obviously quite prepared to take the money for his own use.

Something else I have read a few times is that the car they later hired exclusively for themselves was the same one that had been hired to be used by the whole group when they first went out there. If that is so, then they had access to that car from the get go.

I thought it was interesting about O’Brien (I hope that is correct name, he is the one whose partner said later (and her story appears to have been further embellished as it progressed from seeing a man carrying ’something’ to a man carrying a child and even the colour of his shoes), was not there for most of the evening and said his child was sick and he had had to launder sheets, which the hotel staff could not understand because they would have done that for them.

Perhaps Madeleine had also been sick, but as there was nobody there to help her she had choked?

Then as soon as he appeared at the table Kate got up and did her check on the children.

You can’t blame the police for being very suspicious with all of this and then the forensics also.

But one thing I have just thought of if that is true, is that I think it is O’Brien who is the expert in drugs and things like that. Again anybody correct me if that is wrong and it was somebody else. I think if I remember rightly it was just the three of them together.

Could that have any relevance, because it has been said that Gerry had admitted that they did give sedation, where I heard that I don’t know, am just soaking this information up as am browsing, but think it was on a TV channel.

I think the best people to give the info about the Church to would be the Portuguese police and they could have a look around.

If the parents do have anything to do with Madeleine being dead and having to conceal her body then that would be a logical place as the priests are sworn to secrecy I believe. I also think that anybody close to them would be most likely have helped them too if they knew it was an accident and the consequences for them would be dire and they might lose their other children.

I am not convinced they killed Madeleine, I don’t know for sure, just as they don’t know for sure, if they didn’t do something to her themselves, that she was abducted.

But why don’t they mention that she could have gone out the door and got lost or are the clever Macs going to admit they sedated her that night to confirm their scenario that she must therefore have been abducted because she was asleep and unable to walk.

I get the impression those McCanns can think faster than anybody can ask the questions, and I don’t believe a word they say having been taken in by them to begin with.

They do so want people to see them as victims and they can only do that by saying an abductor took their daughter, without an abductor it should be obvious to everybody that it is Madeleine who is the victim. She is a victim of them because she was left by them in an unlocked apartment night after night so that anything could have happened to her. They are a disgrace as parents.
