None of the tapas 9 statements regarding the timeline of events on the night of the 3 rd May tallied.

It was quite a ruse the PJ getting in three of them to confront Robert Murat, because then those 3′ s stories changed yet again in a concerted effort to pin the blame on him, because he is “weird”.

Middle aged man lives with his mum, plays bingo with her on a Friday night. etc.

So the “spray” pattern of arterial blood has been found in the apartment and MAY be Madeleine’s. It has been scrubbed off.

Says a lot for the half hourly checks. You’d think the person doing the half hourly checks might have at least noticed the cleaning going on.

I think he is still a formal suspect. As it was he himself who originally made himself a suspect by requesting arguido status, in order to have the protection which that status affords, i.e. being able to be questioned in the presence of his lawyer, etc., then presumably he can also instigate being released from the arguido status, since he may feel that he no longer needs that protection. He would then become just another “witness”, same as the McCanns and friends.

That is probably what will happen - he, or his lawyer, and the PJ will mutually agree that neither he nor they have anything to gain by his remaining arguido, and a statement will be released confirming that he is no longer a suspect. Anyway the PJ are coming under pressure from higher authority to either charge him or clear him. I think the statement could come fairly soon.

In any case, having pretty well eliminated RM, apart from circumstancial evidence, which is nowhere near enough to charge him, it appears that the PJ have other fish to fry right now. If the news reports are to be believed they are going to be concentrating their investigations “on the family and friends”, and the centre of the enquiry is right back where everything began - in the apartment.

No matter he will still live with the horror of this and the McCann’s efforts to scapegoat him for the rest of his life.

Strange thing - child missing - and all this agro. on a site like this. forget eachother and the differences you might have established. Everyone deserves a life and the life which everyone here is in common with is the life of a little child who - through no fault of her own - is not where she is supposed to be; At this stage nobody knows how, or why she is missing - I am certain in my own mind that she is alive and well and will soon be discovered. However, the full details of how and when she went missing are yet to be revealed - and whatever happened and whoever was involved - we should all keep our feelings for when it is revealed, and instead of everyone on these sites getting at eachother - save all your energy to bang the head of whoever was the cause of distress to this poor little girl

Its just so unnecessary to disrupt what was good. Being in Australia we don’t get all the news or folk’s interpretations of it. So Anorak was a companion to me out here.

Then this all started, the worst vitriol being directed at me for some reason and a couple of others.

A lot of the regulars have left, which is very sad.
