But Sofi, the woman said she looked at internet pictures of Madeleine after she thought she saw her, and said it was definately the same girl she saw at the cafe.. But really, we don’t know who’s right and who’s wrong, so you can’t be saying “Of course it wasn’t Madeleine!” If we think it was Madeleine and it turns out it wasn’t, we’ll be prooven wrong, if you say OF COURSE it wasn’t her and it turns out it was, then you’ll be prooven wrong. We just have to wait for the DNA resaults.

In The Netherlands and Belgium there is very little media coverage of Maddie so to me its very doubtful that this therapist knew her face enough to be 100%. Plus they were not in the cafe so long so how did she evaluate her enough to know things were not normal?

If you had kidnapped Maddie do you really think anyone would take her to a cafe on the border where they MAY be controls? I dont think so

If I was in a foreign cafe faced with a foreign menu maybe I would feel uncomfortable and maybe the child was just wary to? ESPECIALLY when people are staring at you
I do not think its her at all, its not unusual to see english mums and children with foreign partners you know

Firstly Marian that child you was on about was not plastered all over the world for people to remember, so sure what risk is there in letting the child out if you make it normal then the child believes that he or she was meant to stay with the abductors.
But I really think that Maddie is not the child that was seen having a meal because of the media input it would be too great a risk.
Not being Negative but I tend to agree with edge a bit I don’t think Maddie is coming back and it is really heart breaking.
I would love to be proved wrong on this it would be great, I hope i am.

Tonight I’ve just seen the woman interviewed on television who said she is 100% sure it was Madeleine. And yet she doesn’t want anybody to know her name or what she looks like. If you’re 100% sure it’s Maddy then what does it matter if you show your face on an interview. UNLESS of course you think that if it’s not Maddy then you’ll feel guilty that you caused all this drama. But hang on a minute, she keeps saying that she IS 100% sure. Personally I think she’s really NOT that sure otherwise any normal person would have detained those people or at least approached the child, not just sat at a distance and recorded how they were acting on a piece of paper, which was shown on the TV interview.

The media just love to sensationalise all of this. I read how the couple “fled” the scene with the child and “sped off in their car”. Yeah right…..in other words the people probably just took the child by the hand and left the cafe through the front door, got into the car and drove off normally……no screeching of tyres or wheelies down the road I bet.

I hope and pray it was a true sighting and the DNA proves it was Maddie. However if that be so, did the police take the couples cups/glasses away for testing too? It would be the sensible thing to do, but the papers didn’t say.

Recently there was a child found in a central city in the USA. He had been living with his abductor for 4 years. He had a cellphone, went to school, had a bicycle which he rode in the streets, his abductor was a shift worker.

This child was never hidden.

I say be bold, walk right up to the little girl, neal down eye level and ask the child if her if her name is Madeleine McCann? If she says no, then I think I would still report to the police because something didn’t feel right about the situation….. maybe the little girl was in a odd situation, maybe not Madeleines odd situation, but certainly the child needed attention drawn to her. If it was madeleine I would lock those two people in the freezer and not let them out until the poice arrived….. Why IN THE HELL DID THAT LADY LET THAT LITTLE GIRL WALK AWAY!!!!!!!!!???
