Brian Reade Sees Madeleine McCann In Cornwall

A LITTLE Madeleine McCann opportunism in the Mirror. Brain Reade uses the missing child to illustrate the impoverished state of Cornwall’s fire service.

Says he: “In bars across the land, the police involved in the Madeleine McCann case have been kicked senseless over their delayed reaction to her disappearance and the lack of manpower thrown at the case in the crucial initial stages. Which is fair enough.”

Yes, let’s give the foreign police a good kicking. Not that we need telling.
Reade goes on: “But what is our outrage over the disappearance (presumed dead) of two British citizens, along with the corpse of another, in an English holiday resort on Saturday night?

Reade speaks of the fire at Cornwall’s Penhallow Hotel, which has left three people missing and “dozens, of others, including children, mentally scarred”.

Says he: “Due to enforced changes, fire cover in Newquay is provided by ‘retrained’ part-timers.”

None of the fire personnel are believed to be Portuguese, although some may have been to the Algarve…

    No smoke without fire

  2. 2 Toni Says:

2 women in spain have also claimed to have seen maddie being bundled into a citreon in cartanega…….another story brewing here

  3. 3 AMANDA SOUTH AFRICA Says:

I also believe it was Madeleine. It just must be. Poor child being handled so cruel, vicously. I hope they are looking after her and not giving her a hiding when she cries. Please bring her back.

  4. 4 Candy Says:

Well, If I had read a report about a missing girl and then had noticed someone staring at my daughter, no wonder I would have forced the girl to the car asap and had escaped from there with the high speed.

  5. 5 ray Says:

Even if they are AMANDA SOUTH AFRICA she’s probably getting more attention than she did from her own parents.

  6. 6 Lisa Says:

If the McCanns said they believed she is alive in the US she would be sited there then. As widely known as this case has been since May, are people not on the lookout for her until something pops up in the news about a certain area?

After the dissapointment of seeing the little lady the therapist thought to be Madeleine looking nothing like Madeleine, I am certainly doubting this.

My own neighbor has a gorgeous child that could be Madeleine’s twin however I KNOW she isn’t Madeleine and would not dare claim to have seen Madeleine unless I was absolutely sure, got a picture, called her name out, got a tag number, made a HUGE scene where everyone would look at her. I wouldn’t stare to scare off the person that pushed her around though.

Would go up and ask the person is they have change for a bill or something clever instead of staring.

  7. 7 Trismagistus Says:

In the last 3 days I have seen about 5 little blonde girls that to the irrational mind could look like Madeleine. I’m pretty sure they weren’t, though. Well, maybe three of them were but the other two definitely weren’t. Hang on, maybe I’d better call the Sun.

So when will this carefully orchestrated media circus end?

  8. 8 Lisa Says:

I think they should stop with the She is and She isn’t… the They did and they didn’t, we are waiting for and the we are certain…

It is NEWS unless it’s actually NEWS. The media has forgotten the big picture and are only out to get the feeding frenzy off people who are desperate for answers on this little child.

I myself search the articles everyday looking for some kind of actual News. Have learned and become accustomed to … There isn’t any News.

  9. 9 diane from derbyshire Says:

It is obvious that the mcanns have knowledge provided by police as to sightings in Spain before the story broke, they know far more than they are allowed to tell

  10. 10 Angry Says:

What has the disappearence of Madeline got to do with the fire in Cornwall.

I have supported our fire services since the strikes in the 80’s. They do a brilliant job and don’t get the credit for what they do. However the demise of our Fire Bigades is the responsibility of the Government and no one else.

Having worked in the fire industry, the speed of the fire from start to finish was incredible by usual standards. Even with a full time brigade they would not have been able to save the victims in this instance.
