The one thing that sticks in my mind with Kate is the way she appeared shortly after the disappearance of her lovely daughter, and every day since, she is immaculately dressed, every hair precisesly in place, always wears jewelrey??? If this was my daughter I would have swollen eyes with crying and lack of sleep, I would not have the energy or thought to wear any sort of earings, this is very strange, something that I cannot understand. She seems to have a complete controlled persona as does Jerry, almost acted out, rather than a destraught couple who have not seen or heard about their daughter in such a long time. Their whole persona is questionable, or they are the most controlled unfeeling couple of parents in history. They both have the same controlled almost robot like look on their faces, I cannot take their complete controlled personalities as being genuine.

Kate McCann is so OBVIOUSLY hiding something. When you going to just confess Kate? Also, what do Kate and Gerry do all day? They're not working. Do they just self medicate, drink and wonder when the hammer's coming down?

Let's:"focus on wrong doing..."

Two professional (medical) people leave '3' very young children alone and unattended for lengthy periods of time (30 mins to an hour). That's child neglect and if comitted by a nanny, would land them in jail!

EVEN if there were no abduction/murder those poor children were left alone to their own devices: what if they had simply had an accident; fell or drowned in the bath/shower, while their parents 'had a drink'!? Or drank/eaten medicines?

Oh and to task... Is it true that these to 'doctors' DRUGED their children on a regular basis to have 'free time'? If so then they should have the other 2 children taken off them, get struck-off and be charged with poisoning!

Rather than being turned into media celebs!

I read that they left the doors open, sat a lengthy distance from the room (out of ear-shot (it is usually very noisey in a resturant!) and are now failing to assist the police. Why, when they said they would never leave without Maddy, have they suddenly returned to UK?

Also, I have never seen either of them show the slightest drop of a tear! What more evidence do you need. I read that she (Kate) did cry 'a few weeks later'; but is that simply due to the strain she is under? Rather than the tears of a compassionate mother for her missing daugther?

Oh, and of course, she cried when meeting the pope! I bet those were tears of joy at fulfilling a life-long ambition!

A lot of good 'god' can/is/will do! The usual rhetoric of 'faithers'.

What's next: a book? The film...

Yet another ad campaign ?? I think we all KNOW she is still missing and I think people will now react with even more cynicism, in fact I have already heard it said that this is just to divert attention away from the speculation that Kate did it and Maddie is in some water somewhere, not the sea I think. Oh well...if it keeps them happy......

A Campaign Manager.
Fund Managers.
£80,000 ad campaign.
£1.5 million reward from The Sun.
£1.3 in donations to the Find Madeleine Campaign.
A Portuguese holiday villa for three months.
Internet ambulance chasing web site with junk souvenirs: www.store.findmadeleine.com.

A terrible price to pay for a lost and lovable, little blond moppet.

The mean and uncaring marketing machine moves on.

I think what needs to be focused on is realities of "known wrongdoings".

The first reality in that category is that the McCann's left their kids 50m front their place of dining. Nevertheless, checked on them from time to time. Hardly a hang-able offence and not overly negligent.

The very big reality is the utter cock-up by the cops. Their's was big-time negligence and totally off the wall. Any evidence they "got" is hardly credible for the reasons of contamination (serious contamination).

The reality of the 25 day gap of "evidence" - in the rental car, well, I am sorry, I just can't accept it as reality. It's just too unbelievable - especially in light of earlier contamination of evidence. I feel sure it's a set-up or another cock-up. 99%. It's not fair to load the 1% on the McCann's - professionals who would not have gone about things this way.

The reality of the cops cocking things up is never going away - regardless of whether Madeleine is ever found - that could go either way. But the erroneous activity by the cops is the only thing we can go by - their cred is blown to bits no matter what they come up with here-on out.

Give me another reality and I'll start listening.

Think of the facts the police have a wild imagination of how she died SUPPOSELY AND YET THE ONLY EVIDENCE THEY HAVE IS 88% DNA SAMPLE THAT CAN BE EASILY POINT ELSEWHERE. WE HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING ELSE BUT STUPID PAPERS BELIEVING THE PORTUGUSE TABLOIDS AND RUNNING WITH STORIES THAT ARE HALF BAKED...THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND SO OUR MOST OF THEORY OF DEATH WHEN THEY HAVE NO EVIDENCE TO CONCRETE SAY THAT..THE SOONER THEY CAN GET THIS OVER THEY FELT THEY (pJ)THOUGHT THEY GET RID OF MCCANNS.. THEY ARE SO FOOLISH TO SPEAK AND GO RUNNING WITH THIS DNA BEFORE EVERYTHING WAS CONCLUSIVE WHICH MIGHT TAKE YEARS THIS COULD BE A CASE THAT NEVER GETS RESOLVED UNFORTUNATLY BUT THAT OBVIOUSLY WANTED TO BRING THE MCCANN DOWN.

If this was an accident, then the McCanns knowingly robbed the general public in setting up the ‘Find Madeleine’ fund.

But they have no criminal record and no hint of any controversy had surrounded them until now.

While it would be untrue to say that no one who has never committed a crime could *never* commit one, human beings don’t suddenly step out of character like that. There would have to be a cause. They would have to be under strong pressure or there would have to be some other powerful motivating factor before they ever did that.

But in this case there was none. They had no reason to rob the general public simply to cover up an accident. They could have simply stood by and allowed others to set up the fund, but they spearheaded that whole campaign, supposedly making themselves fully culpable and guilty of a serious crime for no credible reason.

If this is so, they were then consciously stealing from you and I. Actually that was almost literally true in my case, as my wife and I contemplated giving to that fund. If the accident theory is true, then the McCanns would by default have been guilty of robbing my wife and I had we donated anything. Do I believe they would have gone that far? Absolutely not.

The notion then that two law-abiding citizens with no former criminal record suddenly morphed into Bonnie and Clyde “just to cover up an accident” is too fantastic to be true.

No one and nothing was pushing the McCanns to do that. It wasn’t necessary merely to cover up death by misadventure. It was a folly. It would only have compounded the mess they were supposedly already in had they been caught. They would have had their backs to the wall only insofar as they had to cover up the accident itself, but that didn’t call for the establishment of a fund that robbed all those who donated to it.

So if the DNA proves that they did this (and it doesn’t according to the police themselves), something has to be very wrong. The strongest evidence that they didn’t do it is staring us in the face in the form of the Find Madeleine campaign.

Comment:
First night of holiday Saturday 28th April all adults and children dined together at Millennium Reastaurant and terrace 10mins from apartment reportedly. For the remaining nights they had a table booked for 8.30 every night leaving the children alone thus setting up a pattern for anyone untoward . Also found this, May 3rd the friends reportedly arrived late due to taking part in a tennis event, first I had heard of this, anyone else heard this. Mcs first to arrive 8.40pm. They were all to take part in a quiz reportedly organised by Ocean Club aerobics teacher Najova Chekaya. Quiz, check children, choose food and wine, more quiz questions, up and down from the table checking children, eat, drink, check children again . Strange night out

FIRST UP....IF THE RESTAURANT WAS REPORTEDLY 10 MINS FROM THE APARTMENT, AT AN AVERAGE WALKING SPEED OF 2.5 TO 3 MPH, BEARING IN MIND THERE ARE TODDLERS IN TOW IN THE FIRST INSTANCE, THIS MEANS THE APARTMENT WAS ABOUT HALF A MILE FROM THE RESTAURANT ...DOES THAT SOUND ABOUT RIGHT ? TIME COULD BE SPEEDED UP A BIT IF THERE WAS ONLY AN ADULT DOING THE DISTANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF "CHECKING" ON THE KIDS, BUT IT COULD STILL TAKE ABOUT SEVEN MINUTES I WOULD THINK

Dr Baden's DNA Analysis
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,296421,00.html

This is a rush transcript from "On the Record ," September 10, 2007. This copy may not be in its final form and may be updated.

VAN SUSTEREN: According to the British media, Portuguese police say Kate McCann failed to prevent her daughter Madeleine's death, and they now claim proof. This proof, according to reports, includes forensic evidence found at the Portuguese apartment where the McCanns were staying with Madeleine. It also includes the car the family rented nearly a month after they reported the toddler missing.

Forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden joins us.

DR. MICHAEL BADEN, FORENSIC PATHOLOGIST: Hi, Greta.

VAN SUSTEREN: Good evening, Dr. Baden. Dr. Baden, I must admit I find the reports perplexing in this story, and I'm not sure what to believe and what not to believe and how to be fair to the McCanns and fair to Madeleine and everybody else involved.

BADEN: Well, I think what's happening is we may be going down the road of three recent notorious cases. The worst of them, Jon Benet Ramsey. They call up (ph) a kidnapping. The police come, and they don't protect the scene. They muck up the scene. They never solve it properly. This was — this — the Portuguese police should have sealed and protected the scene. They didn't.

Natalee Holloway, where the concern was more, in my opinion, tourism than finding the possibility that a local could have killed a tourist. And many people in Aruba still think that Natalie Holloway ran away and is alive or that the family had something to do.

And the Duke players, where the prosecution claimed they had more evidence than they really had.

And I think — remember, 25 days, the body is severely decomposing. Where do they keep a decomposing body that has a terrible odor within a few days? Have they put it in the back of a car? If there was DNA from the body in the back of the car, it would have soaked into the rug. They couldn't get rid of it. Instead, apparently, the McCanns had hired the car to take away a lot of their clothing elsewhere, including the baby's, Madeleine's, clothing and toys, which have DNA on it.

VAN SUSTEREN: So you'd have a transference, which (INAUDIBLE)

BADEN: A transference of hair, of skin cells into the back of the car. I don't believe they could have blood, red blood still in a 25-day-old body.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right. Let me ask two questions because, I mean, I find this whole DNA transference thing as the most likely thing, but I don't know. It's early in the investigation.

BADEN: Right.

VAN SUSTEREN: In the event that they found her blood this late, could they tell whether or not there was any drug in the blood? If you find some dried-up blood, you know, three months or four months later...

BADEN: It's possible. It's amazing what they can do now. Toxicology has advanced tremendously. And even with drops of blood — you know, large drops of blood — they can find whether or not there are drugs in that blood. It's unlikely because after 25 days, the blood would have all turned greenish and wouldn't be recognized as blood.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right. One other sort of unusual situation here. These are in vitro babies...

BADEN: That's right.

VAN SUSTEREN: ... the two babies that they — and I guess that we don't know if they truly are both the biological parents of these — of Madeleine. So any blood that was found, would that have a DNA twist to it in terms of trying to determine...

BADEN: That would. When they say it matches Madeleine, how do they know what Madeleine's DNA is? They haven't found Madeleine. They don't know what her DNA is. And the parents would know whether or not it was his sperm and her egg, but...

VAN SUSTEREN: So there's another whole 'nother twist to it...

BADEN: That's another...

VAN SUSTEREN: ... that needs to be investigated.

BADEN: Another issue, yes.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right. Well, we just got to stick to the facts and see what we can figure out. Thank you, Dr. Baden.

BADEN: Thank you, Greta.

HH.

Good points. One or two points of issue though...

"once the whole campaign ball started rolling it snowballed and she was stuck in the thing coz Gerry was running the show innocently………"

That would be asking for two model citizens to have become overnight more brazen than Bonnie and Clyde in robbing the general public all over the world of money they devotedly set aside to find Madeleine. But this is the stuff of pulp fiction.

They didn't go about it in a half-hearted way. They set up the "Find Madeleine" fund with vim and vigour, both of them equally motivated. It wasn't the case that Kate McCann simplay tagged along behind. It's fantastic to suppose they would had the heart to fleece people of their money like that if they were guilty of death by misadveture and intent merely to cover it up.

These theories really ARE ludicrous.

If the Portuguese police have made an error, this may result in the McCanns
