Sometimes I think all this posting to ‘old’ threads is a dastardly plot to try and catch the Moderators out.

We have to be ‘light on our feet’ and have ‘eyes in the back of our heads’ to keep tabs on what everyone is getting up to!

We have had many enquiries as to our plans for the festive period. Christmas 2007 will be an incredibly difficult time for us if Madeleine is not found before then.

Is he serious? People want to know what the Mccanns will do for Christmas? That is a joke.
First he says they have cancelled Christmas…then he goes on to say how they will try and have a normal Christmas for the twins sake and they have decorated the tree and blah blah blah….I am actually gettin tired of seeing Gerry and Kate. I read one news story that said Madeleine will be returned by Christmas?
Maybe Kate and Gerry need to tell God how sorry they are that they left their lil children alone night after night to go out and party and ask him to bring Madeleine home to them instead of putting the blame on everyone else. I’m surprised Gerry has not asked that Christmas be put on hold…..

Madeleine McCann’s family will not be celebrating Christmas this year but her grandmother still has a present waiting for the missing four-year-old

So they want everyone to feel sorry for them BECAUSE they are not gonna have Christmas….But then they are?

I am tired of hearing what Kate and Gerry are doing….and who cares if they have Christmas or not. The only one i feel sorry for is Madeleine. Will she be celebrating Christmas?!?!

The more i read…the more i see Kate and Gerry as selfish and just out for their own good time.

BUT then the same article says:

“We have proof of her movements after her kidnap and we know she was alive the day after her disappearance. We are not certain she left Portugal.

“I talk of certainties because we know which group may have her or could have kidnapped her to then sell her on to others,” Marco said.

So on one hand she is in Africa and on the other she may never have left Portugal? What the heck…..I hope she is returned by Christmas…..BUT i will not hold my breath.

Today, thier privately-hired dectives are again on the verge of finding Madeleine - you bet they are on £50,000 ($100,000) a month - paid for from the fund! According to one news report the McCann clan are uneasy over the constant news reports coming from this detective agancy.

I like Gerry Mccann less and less as time goes on. They would of stayed in….but going out with their friends was more important than their children’s safety? The article goes on to say that in room babysitters are expensive(did they have to go out to eat without their children EVERY nite?) and the group babysitting meant the children would have to go to bed, be woken up by parents when they were picked up and put back to sleep(so what)

I also read that Gerry said not all people on Holiday the same time as them have been interviewed. Give me a break. I still believe Kate and Gerry are involved to some degree. Will Madeleine ever be found?

**New article in australian paper…what is with parents these days? And this mom is mentally ill? What did she just get that way before she killed them? Why does a mentally ill woman have 5 small children and where is the father and family that these children were left alone with her? Makes me sick. But shows parents do hurt and kill their children.
Ref Riley Ann, now they are using a step parent syndrome? That is a joke. Anyone that abuses or kills a child is a monster IMO!!

Good point about how the childs body was concealed even in hot weather.

The sad case about Riley Ann is that her stupid mother appears to have allowed the boyfriend to take charge. Statistics show that in cases like this it is usually the boyfriend and the mother usually protects him. I do not have any faith in the child welfare system. There was a case in NY where a child would not show up at school for days and when she did she showed signs of abuse. The welfare reps reported everything was OK . The child was later killed by the mothers boyfriend.
A lot of these cases are usually poor under educated types who should not be around kids.
Although that is unfair of me to say. The McCann’s are certainly well educated. Where did they go wrong???

Experts at the research centre in Birmingham have helped Portuguese detectives since the three-year-old went missing from a holiday resort on the Algarve on May 3.
“It was felt that it was difficult to do everything on the phone. The time was right for them to sit down face-to-face,” a Leicestershire Constabulary spokeswoman said. “It has not been generated by any specific developments.”
The talks will take place on Thursday at an undisclosed location.
News reports said the meeting will focus on DNA evidence said to have been found in a hire car used by the girl’s parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, while they were in Portugal.
