Am I the only person to think that Jane Tanner's efit looks like HER?????? There is definately something odd about this woman and I just feel uncomfortable when I look at a pic of her.
She sees a man carrying a child late at night but doesnt say anything for weeks? How worrying is that? Her partner is away from the table for half an hour and reappears at the same time as Kate McCann. Strange co incidence....Has anybody considered that one of the McCanns was having an affair and Maddie was taken out of revenge or a plot that went horribly wrong.
Also the man that spent 45 mins with his sick child and then returned to the table....why would a dr leave a child who had been ill and sick alone? That doesnt add up at all. The 4 people should be investigated more thoroughly and named suspects. There is some kind of web of deception and cover up going on here.

I too believe Tanner is making up her story. IMO why would she pay so much attention to this man? And she can describe the jammies on the child? BUT not the man’s face. This is a joke and i believe the Mccanns and their “friends” know more than they are saying.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If Tanner is to be believed, she was - or actually HAD to be , very close to the person carrying the child as the alleyways round there are very narrow aparently. She MUST have seen the guy's face, she must have seen some feature she could describe if the clear description of his clothes, the child, the child's clothes etc are to be believed. This woman is a nutter !!

That's why my friend never charges for anything to do with children or when people are desperate for help, as in the removal of "entities". She only ever charges for bona fide readings which is fair enough, but in a high-profile case like this, you would have thought these guys would have been falling over themselves to help. I am going to try to find out what happened about the "Psychic Barber's" involvement and whether or not, anything came of it

1737 Christine

Good thought but the only bunch of psychics I know round here, of which my friend is one, have always tried to help where possible and have very often got together to work on things like clearing "haunted" houses. My friend, who's name is also Christine !! , worked on one once with the regular crowd which freaked even her out as the "entity" there was so bad it took them all, all their strength and effort to get rid of it.

In a case like this you would think the Psychics could contact each other, see if they had been getting similar "messages" and combine to get them to the necessary authorities for consideration but there again, the Leicestershire Police told me they had often used Psychics and Mediums in cases to good effect but what is the Portuguese take on that ? Would they consider that kind of thing blasphemous ? not worthy of consideration ?

Do you think that psychics would be afraid to get together and reveal their findings? They could remain anonymous as do all the friends of friends and unknown sources.

I told my friend about your "dream" and she was amazed and also feels that she is even more right than she thought, as she is a bit of a "Doubting Thomas" at times which is why she likes feed-back. She also says she feels that things are coming together fairly quickly now because of the results of the "Dispatches" programme, because of what you said and various other little things dropping into place.

She always thought it would be October when the rains come, that Madeleine would be found but she didn't like the sight of those drains shown on the "Dispatches" programme, they made her go cold. She had also sensed that this still water she feels Madeleine is in, had to be accessed by steps and she thought that strange if it were a well or a pond or a reservoir but - like I said - she is about 75% to 80% right so we'll see.......

With you on that !! It appears that at least 150 Mediums /Psychics had contacted the Police both here and in Portugal and we are of the opinion that there are enough of them out there to come up with similar threads which would be worth investigation. Their submissions are all in a file apparently. I also think that it is amazing that Lisa 1721 had that dream which also came up with Madeleine in still water and she doesn't profess to be a psychic !! I had a set-to with someone on another Madeleine forum about the "Psychic Barber" who had offered his services for free to the McCanns but haven't heard anything further as to whether they took him up on that. This poster quoted all these famous name Psychics, Stephen Fry, Derek Acorah et al, and said how wonderful they are - well OK - why haven't they combined their talents to seek out this child ? If the "Psychic Barber" did find Madeleine under the circumstances my friend describes, guess who'd get the publicity ??!! would't do his career any harm I doubt !! not that she wants any publicity or reward, she just wants to help find the child. Incidentally, she has been "told" all the way through that she will be interviewed and then she had a dream where she was taken to a room and the McCanns were brought in but she's not sure if that was just things playing on her mind, she tends to trust what she is "given" rather than what she dreams.

But harking back to the "Psychic Barber's " offer - yes, you are right, psychics are the last things I would want to contact if I had something to hide !!

Thanks for your reply. Actually I wouldn't poo poo anything from a medium or psychic and I've wondered right from the beginning why the McCann's didn't contact mediums right from the start. They may not have been 100% accurate but if enough of them told of the same things, then it could have built up a picture of what happened would have been a positive lead to finding where Madeleine was. Of course if I had anything to hide, they'd be the last people I'd turn to.

1727 Lisa

You're not paranoid but this woman has to be criminally stupid if today's headlines in the "Redtops" are to be believed, now she is saying "I saw him take her" ...hullo ??? now it seems she stood by in this five-foot wide alleyway, saw someone walking past with a bundle, sorry with this child wearing Madeleine's pyjamas and not only didn't challenge him but didn't say anything about it for three weeks, not on the night "...oh my God !! I have just seen someone carrying what looked like Madeleine down the alleyway ...!! " at which point everyone could have fanned out and looked for her. Then she comes up with this "picture" six months later, which could be anyone from my / your next-door neighbour or the guy down the fish shop and expects to be taken seriously !!

Having now watched the "Dispatches" programme and seen the logical way these guys worked through the case I now see several things I didn't know before e.g it was always said that the abductor carried this "sleeping" ( drugged) child through the streets to the Marina, why would he/she do that ? walking through a brightly lit street filled with night-time merrymakers when the steps from the apartment were in dark and shadow and led down to an alleyway at the side which was totally dark, and then ultimately to another one which led to the car park where no doubt this white van that has figured so largely, was parked, and thence away to the hills !!

And speaking of white vans, what happened to the Hans von Aesch story ? ..that died the death has it ?

I've had a 'feeling' about this case for some time...like thousands of others, I know, and this is just one more 'feeling' to add to the seemingly endless lists of speculative statements.

The idea of the parents killing or hurting Maddy did not 'sit' right - yet I sensed they were involved.

I had a weird sense that the parents had given her away. I have no idea why they would. Although that seems crazy, in some part of my brain it makes some sort of odd sense.

Or it could be my medication....

I just hope all the results come out of Birmingham soon, and move this forward to a conclusion.

PS - One good thing to come from this so far...the Portuguese seized and checked a whole bunch of computers with child pornography on them. Hopefully some depraved souls were arrested...and maybe a few missing children found.

Not a happy time. :-(

I’ve had a ‘feeling’ about this case for some time…like thousands of others, I know, and this is just one more ‘feeling’ to add to the seemingly endless lists of speculative statements.

The idea of the parents killing or hurting Maddy did not ’sit’ right - yet I sensed they were involved.

I had a weird sense that the parents had given her away. I have no idea why they would. Although that seems crazy, in some part of my brain it makes some sort of odd sense.

Or it could be my medication….

Oh well... I used to think that all the inconsistencies in statements and all the strange behaviour suggested the McCanns were hiding something.

...But now we have this startling PROOF OF ABDUCTION in the form of a picture of THE ABDUCTOR IN THE VERY ACT OF ABDUCTION, I must of course withdraw everything I have thought and said about this case over the last six months.

I'm afraid if I was in such close proximity to someone carrying a child that resembled my friends daughter or if I thought it looked a bit suspicious at that time of night wrapped in a blanket I probably would have approached them. Even if I may have caused offence my instinct as a mum to protect children would have taken over. I've done it time and time again to make sure little ones are with who they're supposed to be with. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong but my gut feeling is to check it out. The problem here is that everyone has different ways of doing things. I'm probably considered paranoid as I like to know where my kids are and who they're with and I expect them to be taken care of . There are a lot of parents out there who do leave their children alone whilst dining or in other situations where I would not. I just hope wherever Madeliene is she doesn't become a tortured soul. I'm also a great believer in karma (what goes around comes around) and whoever is responsible for Madeleines fate will recieve the same sort of treatment and then some.
