Are the McCanns now the first people to call when a child goes missing? How long before they are billed as “experts in child tragedy” and appearing on news bulletins and regional magazine shows?
The McCanns’ spokesman Clarence Mitchell says: “Gerry and Kate of all people know the agony that Mari’s family are going through”

Please keep your bitter diatrbies to yourself. I more more jealousy of people in serious trouble or worse (like Diana) in these papers than anywhere else.

Can anybody furnish this forum with the nursery attendance records for the week prior to MMcC’s disappearance? Especially the first and second of May as I know this would put a lot of questions to bed.
Assuming that none of the staff at MW are not suspects, surely they must be able to speak out in the same way as Miss Pennington has. I would like the reassurance that MMcC was in nursery - whilst GMc was nursing his heel etc.
This would help those people on here who feel that she went missing earlier than we are led to believe by the Clan and the media. And stop yards of chat on that particularly talked-about point.
Knowing Ms Pennington heard KMc say certain words immediately after the disappearance obviously provides us with a conundrum, but I think the nannies who worked with the children day after day should sell their stories.

Now have a look at this article in which miss Pennington states:
“We told the head of department what had happened and she took us straight to the apartment.”
“I was standing right in front of her outside the apartment’s back door, in the alleyway.”
“I was in the apartment less than five minutes after they found that Madeleine had gone.”
“There were no children in the room. The twins had been taken out already, I think by one of the McCanns’ friends.”
“Kate and her friend, who was looking after her, were the only ones who weren’t out looking for Madeleine”

So either Madeleine was abducted and may be somebody should have checked the twins [however we don’t know if they did or didn’t, do we?] OR she wasn’t abducted in which case there was no need to check the twins. We can’t have it both, is it?
