i have been on the job to find madeline mccan for over 6months and this is getting ridiculous now so we must approcah fast action all around the portugese flat and dig hundreds of yards underneath and around it to make sure she has not been buried.

Saw your post just before I logged out. There was a lot of activity in early September, yet still there have been no arrests or charges, so it’s possible that the PJ have changed their position from the theory they were working on at that time.
Maybe Harry is just a hoaxer, he wouldn’t be the first, nor the last, but we shall see.

I honestly don’t know anything about Harry, his real background or his intentions. I will however repeat what I often say about anyone, from an individual to a media investigation team (I’m being sarcastic, the latter appears not to exist in this case) that without access to the PJ’s files any third party investigation is doomed.
Back in September I think there was genuine media speculation, possibly driven by contacts within the PJ that this case was close to a resolution. That’s all changed since Mr Rebello took over.
Some of the interesting facets of this investigation since Mr Rebello too over is that the leaks allegedly from police sources have pretty much dried up and the investigation timeline/activities while being the subject of much debate in the media has been a closely guarded secret.
Now, it’s my opinion that the PJ are conducting their investigation at a pace that suits them and are not being dictated to by others. Team McCann on the other hand, also in my opinion, know that the longer this investigation goes on the greater is the possibility that someone will crack or that some embarrassing nugget of information will be uncovered about someone(s) within the orbit of the investigation.
Money and career is also a strong driver I believe. The money in the Limited Company colloquially known as “The Fund” is running out. Donations are drying up as is public sympathy. Worse, the money making gravy train is fast disappearing over the horizon.
Against that background, I believe that the PJ are quite happy to leave the McCann’s out to dry for as long as they can on the basis that this may lead to the McCann’s and/or someone(s) around them making mistakes. This in turn may have to do with the PJ knowing for instance that it is unlikely they will ever find Madeleine’s body, thereby making a manslaughter/murder charge difficult to bring.
Let me be clear, I’m not accusing the McCann’s of any particular act in Madeleine’s disappearance because I simply don’t know what, if anything, they may have done. I have however been of the opinion for some while now that the McCann’s, and/or their friends/family, know rather more about the events leading up to and after Madeleine’s disappearance than has yet come to light.

REPLY: That is right. There was also another article in which Jill Renwick (who has a doctor husband and who has twins born by IVF) describes a previous holiday with the McCanns (in 2002) during which she and Kate commiserate about not being able to have children. Kate and Jill seem to be good friends, going back years, with a lot in common, who often holidayed together. The only difference seems to be that Kate herself is a doctor, but Jill is in the British media.
So on May 4th, Jill Renwick was in PDL, still on holiday. We’d have to assume she flew back to Britain soon thereafter, though, if she was knocking on people’s doors down the street just a few days later.
Reuters did not retract their statement, and no one has ever claimed it was wrong, not even Jill herself. Instead, strangely, it seems that Jill Renwick has chosen to hide the fact that she was in PDL at the time, by dropping the subject. Why? That is somewhat suspicious.
Meanwhile, we now have a mysterious Jane Tanner “family”, according to the BBC, staying 600 yards away from where Madeleine disappeared. The only member of this family to be identified so far, is
“Granny Gail Cooper, 50″, although also mentioned is her 8 year old grand-daughter:
“Mrs Cooper also said her eight-year-old grand-daughter had been playing on her own in the pool near the villa and was clearly visible from the road.” So, Gail Cooper is Jane Tanner’s elder sister? How odd that the BBC calls her “family” without any specifics. I wonder what it all means — if anything.

I’ve just read the BBC article … NOTW tracked down holidaymaker … staying 600 yards from McCanns apartment …. her name just happens to be Jane Tanner ?!?!?!
So, how many Jane Tanners were there ????

There is only one, but she has the amazing talent of being in many places at one time, and in seeing a creepy man all over the place, who keeps changing appearances.
If the BBC report is accurate, then it appears that Jane Tanner has family who live in PDL, or who were also on holiday there.

The BBC made a mistake, and it was really Granny Gail Cooper, 50? Or is Ms. Cooper herself Jane Tannner’s family? Now, everyone I know thought Jane Tanner was staying with Dr O’Brien in apartment 5b, but I suppose that ‘officially’ O’Brien was renting the apartment and Jane Tanner was staying “with her family 600 yards from the McCann’s apartment”.
So far so good. The old sketch was provided by Jane Tanner. The new sketch has been provided by Jane Tanner’s family. I guess seeing creepy people just runs in the Tanner family.
And incidentally, does the Tanner family own property in PDL? Not too far away from Robert Murat’s property, either, but never mind. Jane Tanner, just like Gerry, does not want to comment on whether or not she has known Robert Murat all along.
