VQ, I don’t understand how that man sleeps at night - if he does and I wonder if he does. He and this administration tell lies to cover up lies…it is endless. I’d never wish ill to happen to him; as I want him to live a long life with the scorn of the public always with him and hopefully the ’souls’ of each soldier killed to visit him every night in his sleep.

I was NOT critizing the UK at all! I have been one of the most vocal ones on the Backlash page for years standing behind the UK’s exact thoughts of Bush and adding quite a few of my own!

Surely the brunt of the Iraq and other shit lands first on our plates?

REPLY: Sure it lands first on our plate - look who in the hell got us into this mess. And who got the UK into the mess with us? Blair! I’ll never understand what possessed that man to get involved with us on that. We get the shit from the UK and all the grief heaped on all Americans for what those two idiots got both countries into. Did you see that report the other day on all the lies documented that were told by Bush and others in the Admnistration prior to the War and still during the ongoing war?

I was sitting over here figuratively having a stroke at the thoughts of Blair actually sending those three men over here to stand trial. Then when I read where it was suggested that maybe they’d be able to go back over there while waiting for their trial to start here I thought oh yes and I still believe in Santa Claus.

REPLY: What have I done? Criminal? Absolutely nothing unless you want to count parking tickets, I forget to pay from time to time and end up paying double the fines.

However, I was very outspoken at the time ,when it was all over the news over there, that Tony Blair should not send them over to stand trial here.

Texas is a very bad state to stand trial in - those Texans are a law unto themselves. Quite macho to carry and own a gun down there; kids are taught to shoot quite young there also on shooting ranges; a lot of prejudice down there; highest execution rate in the US - more minorities, Blacks, Mexicans, etc. than Whites. Granted the Gentlemen from the UK were not facing the death penalty just facing many years under the charges if found guilty by a jury there. They weren’t Texans and they were from another country; and they thank heavens had top lawyers representing them.

Now, if I’ve insulted any Texans on here, I apologize; however, I will come back with bible and verse on exactly what has been done down there to put some innocent people in jail and on death row and the excuse given when the report was finished and published by a special investigation team the other year “well, our prosecutors get over zealous at times in prosecuting a case.”

Bloody Hell!!!!!!! Five years fighting extradition, don”t think I”d last that long if this
happens with the McCanns.

Wasn”t there a case about three Nat West Bank staff being accused of fraud in the Enron
scandal. I know they did go to the U.S.A.but it didn”t take five years. Can”t remember

Here is a saying we have in America that you will find very useful in dealing with the tabloids and such:

“Did you all take stupid-pills this morning???”

I say that to myself nearly every day when reading the UK tabloids, and also sometimes when reading certain posters.

The McCanns trot out the ‘Everyone wants to interview us’ line at regular intervals…
