Anorak without vulgar Spanish was better. Bilingual and vulgar Anorak is no better than in English but decent Anorak. The level of reasoning here has fallen far. That is typically Spanish. It is unfortunate!

Val

I can only find the bit where he thought I was a man, is this what you mean?

Or because I used to be Brandon Flowers?

I am a woman

I used to be Flowers ( Who is the lead singer of the band The Killers)

Then someone pointed out anorak quotes can be googled and The real Mr Flowers might get in trouble for stuff I was saying.

So I changed it to Flours!

To be honest anorak was the first thing who would print my comments, and I was listening to their song at the time.

I never for the life of me thought I would still be here 5 months on!!

But people dont name changers, so I have no choice :-)

Hi Brandon, I don"t have much housework to do, but three or four hours sleep at a time is my
limit. I"m just going to make a cuppa and I"ll be back.

By the way why did "John Brown" out you?

1080 Marie Nicholas

"The most important part of the last rites is the reception of the Lord in one’s final Communion, also called "Viaticum" (Latin = that which you take on the road, i.e., provisions for a journey) This special Communion prepares us to travel with the Lord on the final part of our journey."
http://www.catholic.com/library/Anointing_of_the_Sick.asp

I think, therefore, that it is related to the First Communion, since I doubt that one could have one's final Communion without having the first one.

I don’t think it has anything to do with the first communion.

It is true that the child, having being baptised and sinned very little at her age, is supposed to go directly to heaven. Now, we don’t know for sure that the child had been baptised. I she hadn’t and her parents had some remnants of traditionnal scary religion on their minds, then they might require her baptism in a hurry. Maybe that is what they asked from Father Pacheco? Difficult to say.

___________

They are practicing Catholics, I honestly doubt if that little child was not baptized. However, if she hadn't been baptized they could have baptized her themselves, as permitted in the Catholic Church.

Devout Catholics have a deep faith in God and in times of great emotional upset and need for comfort they go to a Priest for strength through prayers to help them through whatever.

Forever Searching is a group of Caring dedicated people raising awareness to missing children worldwide. Please visit our website to see a little of what we do
We are looking for volunteers to help within our small, friendly, professional group. Can you spare some computer time? As a volunteer, you will need to use the internet to research possible target audiences, as well as emailing posters of missing children worldwide.
You will be allocated a Team Leader who is there to assist you whenever needed. You will be required to email your weekly progress reports to your team leader and discuss where to focus next.
We just need you to be computer literate, reliable and have a passion for children.
Application procedure: Please send an e-mail to foreversearching.com.
Thank you
M Black (please quote when registering)
foreversearching.com
**********************************
So, Fairy Godmother, may I inquire, are you “M Black” (Mandy Black, Recruitment Officer)? Why are you trying to entice people into this shady organization?

There are already many valid bona fide organizations that need volunteers or donations. This “foreversearching” is just an organization that uses others’ misfortunes in order to continually remind people about Madeleine. That’s an exact reflection of the recent stories in the media.

As they put it on their webpage:
“Since news of Madeleine McCann’s abduction in Portugal in May 2007, group members have worked tirelessly, distributing thousands of posters displaying 4 year old Madeleine’s face throughout the world. This story set off a chain reaction as members of “Forever Searching” became aware of other missing and forgotten children, and they set about raising awareness for all of them. ”

They began with Madeleine and now they are branching out. How disgusting.

They also say:
“The Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre advises that in the absence of any evidence that a child has died, investigators and the public should continue to look for a living child. The International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (ICMEC) also advises that the key to locating missing children is to keep awareness high…”

They cite the CEOP and the ICMEC primarily as an excuse for continuing forever the search for Madeleine, unless her body is found.

Then I noticed:
” Co-Founder Kathy Atkinson says “Any poster we send out could be the one that helps a child find their way home, and knowing that makes it all worthwhile”.”

“Co-founder?” Who are the other “founders”? Indeed, who is Kathy Atkinson? Here are the others listed as associated with this suspicious organization:

“Adelle Shepherd - I.T Administrator
Kathy Atkinson - Public Relations + Strategic Director
Lena Denmark - Creative Director
Mandy Black - Recruitment Officer
Niamh Brennan - Administration and Human Resources Director
Val Swift - Research Director”

I think this organization should be investigated to make sure it is not intending to profit from others’ misfortunes. It appears to be a tentacle of the Fund for Madeleine. imho

It appears to be a tentacle of the Fund for Madeleine. imho

can't say no

British diplomats 'were told to avoid offering support to Murat

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=501440&in_page_id=1770

El Mundo claims a Foreign Office document, dated May 17, justified the order because of "the specific nature of the case" and because British diplomats "were already helping Madeleine McCann's parents."

Three family liaison officers from Leicestershire Police also flew to the area to assist the couple, both 39-year-old doctors from Rothley, Leicestershire.

And ten days later the Foreign Office sent press officers Sheree Dodd and Clarence Mitchell to Praia da Luz to help with the media.

El Mundo claims Robert Murat's only support was a meeting with two low ranking diplomats some weeks after he was named as a suspect.

His mother Jenny, 71, tried but failed to arrange a meeting with British Embassy staff, it said.

In desperation she travelled to the UK to speak with her local MP, complaining of a lack of support from the British authorities.

The MP contacted the Foreign Office and met two diplomatic staff from the Algarve.

The MP was assured Robert Murat would receive the same support given to the McCanns, but only if he was formally charged, the newspaper reported.

Two MPs plan to raise the issue of the different standards of support in Parliament in January, lawyer Francisco Pagarete claims.

The paper reported: "An internal document, sent by the Foreign Office of the United Kingdom, orders British diplomats 'to avoid offering support' to Robert Murat, one of the suspects in the Maddie case, unless charges are presented against him."

British Ambassador to Portugal John Buck joined the McCanns in the Algarve shortly after Madeleine vanished from the family's rented holiday apartment in Praia da Luz
