Didn’t jump to conclusions, just took what was said at face value and am intelligent enough to realise, once explained, just what your problem is but why has it suddenly started ? didn’t always used to be like that did it ?

We didn’t ask all posters to refrain from multiple postings, the message was addressed to those particular posters who were getting caught up in the spam trap.

If you are in the spam trap and then send another half dozen postings in reading variations of ‘get me out here’ or ‘anybody listening, I’m trapped in spam’, whilst mildly amusing to the poster, the only ‘person’ who sees those messages is the spam machine, which promptly blocks the poster altogether, thus multiplying the problem.

Yesterday you asked for posters to refrain from multiple postings until you had sorted your spammer out, trouble is that when a “lively” debate gets going with quick-fire responses, there will naturally be a lot of “multiple postings” !! Suggest said spammer is dumped in favour of one that runs on nuclear energy instead of steam !! …oh wait though, that’s probably not very “green” so maybe scrub that and go for one that is more eco-friendly….Respec’ to you all.

Gandolf why - if you would like to be taken seriously where your views and opinions and topics for debate are concerned, do you persist in using badly spelt gutter language ? Posters can be incisive and witty in their comment and don’t need to use words like “fukwit” which - incidentally should also have a ‘c’ in it !! Your namesake, which incidentally is spelt with an ‘a’, would be frowning on your attitude which belies the apparent desire to be taken seriously. Also you can’t stop people having their own opinions by just swearing at them, verbally brow-beating them and insulting their own level of intelligence…

Karen - let’s face it, IF they didn’t harm her directly then the child was abducted. She just didn’t vanish into thin air on her own - someone has/had her.

Correct !! so why are there certain posters out there who are absoolutely convinced there was no abduction and - when asked - never come back with their reasons for thinking that way ? It’s quite simple, if they are so convinced she was not abducted, really, really convinced, then what happened ??

Gandolf.No evidence to support homicide,what about eddie & keela detecting smells in the car,the McCanns soon came up with rotting meat/sandels,clothes from Maddie.Smells on Kates clothes & cuddle cat,I took the toy to work & came in to contact with dead bodies, they were quick enough to give alterative ideas to give credance.But then there is no evidence is there Gandolf

I was referring to the PJ in saying in the beginning of that case. But I was also referring to if that is how all police forces work over there then I didn’t have much faith in any them. I think the Spanish Police did a great job on jumping on the Maria Luz case right away. What puzzled me was all the remarks on here that there was no connection and left one to think that the Spanish Police may also have that thinking, when, in fact, it would have been one of the actions one would expect the Police would do knowing how paedos’ work.

One would like to think that the Police don’t let letters from people about a case under investigation influence their thinking on how they handle the case, VQ. Some people on here have said about writing the PJ case re the McCanns and I’ve wondered to myself do they shake their heads in dismay and disgust or give credence to them.

I don’t understand your reference to the Spanish police.

The McCanns can’t know she was abducted since they weren’t there - so that part of their story is meaningless.

But it’s always wise to check the movements of a criminal (esp. a sexual predator) - and I’m sure the Spanish police would do that as a matter of routine.

The new investigator in Portugal yes but old one no. Too much time was lost by what seemed to be their ineptness or unwillingness in handling that case properly. The first investigator came across as having ‘tunnel vision’ — blame the mother easiest way to solve the case.
