Madeleine McCann: A Tapas Quiz, Doctors And McCanns

madeleine-mccann-dress Madeleine McCann: A Tapas Quiz, Doctors And McCannsMADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann

SUNDAY PEOPLE: “COPS’ 3-DAY TAPAS QUIZ”

Big news for those who thought the cops’ specialist food knowledge was donuts and kebabs. Cops making a last-ditch bid to solve the Maddie McCann mystery will spend only THREE DAYS quizzing the Tapas Seven.

Not the Tapas Nine. Not the Sangria Seven.

The detectives are particularly keen to see Dr David Payne, Jane Tanner and her partner Dr Russell O’Brien. Doctors Gerry and Kate, both 39, are not expected to face more questioning.

Doctors. Such are the facts.

The friends deny that their initial statements contain contradictions. But Portuguese police hope that ironing out apparent inconsistencies will help solve the riddle.

THIS IS LONDON: “‘Tapas Nine’ to face three days of police interviews”

Portuguese police are planning to question the so-called Tapas Nine during three days of interviews in a final attempt to solve the mystery of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance.

The so-called Tapas Seven.

Mr and Mrs McCann, who are both still official suspects, are not expected to be questioned.”

DAILY MIRROR: “Tapas Seven to be questioned again in Madeleine case”

The Tapas Seven, who had dinner with the McCanns on the night their daughter Madeleine, four, vanished, will have more than 100 questions put to them by Portuguese police.

Any other facts?

A source told Portuguese paper 24 Horas, said: “We are at a crucial phase. There are clear contradictions in the statements that the McCanns and their friends gave. Many things have to be clarified.

“The need to question Madeleine’s parents again will be determined by the results of the interrogations of their holiday friends.”

Or not. Such are the facts.

So if the PJ are on the UK from the 7th to the 11th then the McCanns must know they are going back with the PJ (hopefully in handcuffs)

    http://www.sundaymirror.co.uk/news/sund … -20283623/

A close friend said the the couple were likely to go back after their “D-Day” of April 11, when their three-month extension is up, and added: “They feel they’ve waited long enough with this cloud of suspicion hanging over them.

    Morning mods and ade :)

yeah, stay home and shut up.

and type it angrily to anorak every day for a year.

  9. Ann Says:

I think Stevo was well within his convictions for writing to the NMCEC with his criticisms, how anyone or any organisation, can consider talking to the McCs about what should be done I cannot imagine. They are still under suspicion, and even if they didn’t actively do anything to cause their daughter’s death/disappearance, they are still guilty by virtue of the fact that they left these babes alone, unwatched, unguarded in an unlocked apartment as we keep hashing over, so it’s like asking Beverley Allit’s advice on Child Care or Myra Hyndley’s on Day Trips to the Moors for Children !!

I can only conclude that the NMCEC are not in full posession of the facts, as I have already stated, and just see them as people with a missing child.

…and furthermore, whilst sitting in traffic outside the Hospital today, I went back to thinking about Kate’s clothes and Cuddle Cat allegedly smelling of cadavers because she is supposed to have taken the toy to work with her, did she in fact say she did that ? take the toy to work that is ? if so why ? and if so why would she have it about her person in close proxinity to cadavers ? wouldn’t she have left in her bag/the car/a locker or whatever ? did she take it there deliberately ? if so why ? why did she take Madeleine’s “favourite” toy to work with her ?

Why would she have had the same clothes on to deal with six cadavers ? unless they were all in the same day - in which case, was she appended to the Shipman practice ??? Why did she wear the same clothes to go on holiday with, in which she attended to the aforesaid six cadavers ? being fairly well off one would assume she had sufficient changes of clothes to be able to leave those ones behind and wear some “holiday” clothes …wouldn’t one ????

    trouble brewing at express newspapers
and is this evidence of editorial interference?
could it be that the front-line hacks have some integrity after all?
    we should be told

“National Union of Journalists members at Express Newspapers have blamed editorial interference by proprietor Richard Desmond for the spate of Madeleine McCann stories that led to the publisher paying £550,000 in damages last week, after voting for a series of 24-hour strikes over pay.”

i too have wondered what this wearing work clothes on holiday and taking cuddles to work was all about.
my conclusion is that these were simple a knee-jerk answers to some very damning questions.
it should be easy to confirm how many stiffs she dealt with from surgery records.
similarly it should be easy to ask colleagues if she took cuddles into work.
it wpould be more normal to put cudd;es on the desk, i feel.
but hey - these are no way normal people are they?
also, it seems strange that she preferred to take cuddles - maddy’s “favourite” toy - away from her and took it to work.
is this denying access a form of child abuse?
is it a form of punishment that works alongside the “star points system”?
    such fun

To be or not to be an arguido
    This is the question

I “pray” the T3 become arguidos

  14. lyn Says:

    10 Ann

Brilliant thinking IMO. Why would someone not change clothes to go on holidays. K.McCann has lots of nice outfits. Doctors usually wash their hands after attending the dead. Think of what the dead have died from!!!! All queer this taking cuddlecat to work, then taking the toy on holidays and letting a child play with it. Then, supposedly washing the toy after Maddy disappeared. Is there another problem around the corner that will surface soon. If this is what happened, looks like Maddy’s disappearing was premeditated, IMO>

I bet there was some PJ agents in cover in the uk since ever that sad story began

    Now just thinking
Didnt the PJ say they would stay in the uk may be up to 2 months if necessary?

This explains the ludicrous sueing left and right.

  17. jo Says:

“Remember that Kate and Gerry McCann were constituted arguidos, because they refused to answer questions, though close sources to the couple guarantee that they are inclined to collaborate.”

mmmmm…..a slight change in the mccanns approach?
Some months ago they were “keen on being re interviewed”, now they are “inclined to cooperate”

Are they “scared”? Does it mean, despite what is published, they will be re questioned?
Are they going to finally willingly truthfully answer the PJ?
Because in my eyes this is the only “cooperation” acceptable

By the way, that any of those gits answer or not, made arguidos or not, blogs and medias or not, only one thing remains: Madeleine is still missing and NO ONE will ever bring her back

  18. lyn Says:

Thank you very much for this link. IMO am very pleased indeed to see Richard Branson has seen through the smokescreen so to say. And this would explain of course, the suing, as it says in the link.

I remember reading Kate’s colleagues were asked about the 6 cadavers she supposedly handled and they denied it!
Later they were told they could not comment anymore and the same goes for Gerry’s colleagues.
It should be easy to determinate if there are traces of 6 stiffs on poor cuddle cat.
In fact letting the PJ examine CC could be in her favour.
Her boiling out CC is incriminating imo.

    ……………………………….

Ade….. The problems with the Express journalists (NUJ) is that they DIDN’T want to report all the rubbish about the McCanns but Desmond, in his ongoing struggle for supremacy insisted.
It was (and is) all about newspaper sales, not only of the Express but also OK which has just been launched in US.
Nothing to do with McCanns personally and many journalists didn’t want to write the inane stuff for which Express was subsequently sued. Rumour has it that Desmond, despite his friendly smile and charity work, is actually a teeny bit of a dictator.??

  26. Ian Says:

    Who’s the filmmaker I wonder?

What irritates me is the claim that they will not receive the ‘£10,000′ - that it will go to the fund. The fund has a board consisting of the Lawyer funded by Brian Kennedy, the Double Glazing Millionaire (who has had a string of liquidated companies leaving many people suffering financial losses in their wake, as was revealed by Stevo’s investigations yesterday) and family members and which can use the funds supposedly collected to ’search for Madeleine’ to support ‘the family’.

So they can channel any money they make out of Madeleines loss through that fund and look like they aren’t benefiting. I think ITV should hang their heads in shame for supporting this pair and presenting them as ‘celebrities’ and ambassadors for child protection. Thank goodness F1 is going back to the BBC, thats a kick in the sensitive area for ITV! For me its wonderful news, no adverts! Yippee!

    ……………

…trouble is, the longer this thing goes on, the more time people have to think and analyse stuff and the more we come up with “…hey, wait a minute..” moments and start to question things which are actually staring us in the face..
