Portuguese police trying to stage a reconstruction of the night Madeleine McCann disappeared are now making allegations in the Portuguese press about the McCann’s friends. They allege the “Tapas Seven” - the friends dining with Gerry and Kate McCann last May - have refused to travel unless extravagant demands, such as private jet travel and five-star hotel accommodation, are met.Judicial sources in Portugal told the tabloid newspaper 24 horas that the families had demanded the ultra-expensive flights to the Algarve for them and their children as a condition of returning.
Reporting on the reports. In any case, how else should the “Tapas Seven” get to Portugal? And should they pay for themselves?
One said: “Requests for cooperation were sent to various people living outside of Portugal, namely the McCanns, the seven friends they were having tapas with the night Madeleine disappeared, the two spokespeople they had, a friend Gerry McCann was playing tennis with and another friend, Jeremy Wilkins.
“We’ve already received several responses. No one’s said ‘no’.
“But the demands they make to return are impossible to entertain.
“One of the couples demanded a private jet to travel with their children to the Algarve. Another demanded they be put up in a five-star hotel.
“The demands they all made demonstrate a clear strategy by lawyers. The only thing missing from the list was a request that we send them to the moon on skates.”

Thank you; in the sense where winning is defined as being able to walk after the battle, yes.
We are endeavouring to live in peaceful co-existence.
Actually, we are not.
I’m trying to live in peaceful co-existence with them, but I suspect that they simply regard this as an opportunity to re-arm.
I retaliate by taking antibiotics which don’t actually kill the bugs; they do, however, foul up their communications.
Or, to put it in language you will understand a great deal better than I do, inhibit their quorum-sensing abilities.
As far as I’m concerned it’s more a tactic of discouragement than all out attack; there’s only so much microbial genocide that a human can survive.

Think about it, they wanted to come up with a "reason" to wriggle out of going to Portugal for the re enactment of their tapas bar checking lies….
The original translation of the statement by the journalist refered to "investigators close to the case" as releasing the transcripts (Metodo3?),
Why release to Spanish Media contact (Metodo 3 Spanish based)
The Portuguese police would probably have leaked the info to 24 Horas, BUT, if Retardo 3 had tried that, 24 Horas would have have exposed them instantly.
The Mc’s had transcripts of the early statements because the Consulate was doing all of the translations, not the PJ.
What do you think ?… they were awfully quick with their defence weren’t they, almost as though it was pre prepared.

Er, anyway…tonight someone called Geko said charges are imminent, and the PJ have the evidence they need against Kate.
The apartment was cleaned with bleach and Kate’s clothes washed but incriminating fibres were recovered from the washing machine/drains.

M3 a total waste, that is if the funds did not just go in the front door and out the back into someone elses pocket, who would pay so much for nothing, and then wanting to renue the contract, crazy.
I always feared that something nasty would end up in RM’s garden or car, but i do think the PJ kept an eagle eye on M3’s movements, too prevent just that <IMHO

It certainly does seem strange that the Fund would renew a contract with a firm which made grandiose claims, none of which were fulfilled, but I suppose that M3’s expertise in telecommunications may be of great importance to its clients.
And since M3 knew so little about Morocco that they were reduced to advertising on the Web asking for assistance in a background investigation there, it seems even stranger that they were hired to conduct a large scale investigation in Morocco.
But the Fund certainly does move in mysterious ways, its wonders to perform, so we must assume that they are not totally incompetently wasting large sums of money provided by the general public.
If I were Murat I would trust in God, and keep my powder dry…

However the lifestyle that has become acceptable in certain circles, in my opinion is totally unacceptable.
I’m sure the mother of Natasha is going through a terrible time. You your self have already posted sentiments that echo this. A daughter is lost, a victim of this erosion of standards, it is a sad sign of the times.

Poor couple.
As for that jibe about the mother - she loved Mark and took him in, understanding his deep distress was tearing him apart.
