Carlos Anjos, president of Portugal’s Police Federation, says of Clarence Mitchell, the McCanns’ spokesman: “He lies with as many teeth as he has in his mouth.”
The accused the former BBC man of leaking police statements Kate and Gerry made within hours of Maddie disappearing last May. These were aired on Spanish TV last week. Anjos said the aim was to give the McCanns an excuse not to attend a reconstruction.
Says Mr Mitchell: “It is categorically untrue that I leaked them. There was absolutely no benefit for us to do that.”

They know its going to come out, much worse in fact. I dont think Maddie and Shaun werent crying, it was Shaun and Amelie. I dont think they were calling ‘Daddy’, but ‘Maddie’.
You have to realise, the truth is a hell of a lot worse than this ‘leak’.

I believe that now the PJ will even skip the reconstruction because they wont give the mccanns the “pleasure” to refuse to go and anyhow they have enough evidence:JT litterally blew it.
The spin of the leak is the last thing mitchell could possibly do but he has done it and now he will bite his nails in silence: we didnt hear him over the PJ”s reaction.
I wanted to find out more about TV5 and the whole lot but it seems that phones are “unhoocked”…people are weary of the mccHitler

IMO Benefits:-
1). Excuse for not returning voluntarily to Portugal for reconstruction.
2). To try and discredit the PJ
3). To issue a statement with Madeleine alive on the morning of 3rd May. Is there any evidence from outside the Tapas 9 that she was seen on the 3rd May?

I think the leak came from M3.
I wonder what else they have been doing under the guise of finding Madeleine that
could leave the couple gasping for breath.
I see Clarrie in a few years, walking around in a pink tutu talking to himself of the
glory days when he could command the entire tabloid industry to print his drivel.
I think that point has gone and he is on the road to dangerous oblivion.
A spring of compassion arises at the thought of this but I bravely brush it away.

Yes what have those children seen. Even 2 yrs olds can understand something is wrong with their own sister. IMO, I honestly believe that something was going on on that trip to Portugal, and we wouldn’t want to know! Madeleine could have been hurt very badly too and we don’t know for sure whether they were interrupted!
