Madeleine McCann: Watching The Children

birthday-mccann Madeleine McCann: Watching The ChildrenMADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann

THE SUN: “So sad on Maddie’s birthday”

THE parents of missing Maddie McCann held a “low-key” party yesterday on her fifth birthday. Kate and Gerry McCann decided it must go ahead for the sake of their three-year-old twins Amelie and Sean.

And then tell the world about it.

Says McCanns’ spokesman Clarence Mitchell: “Obviously, without Madeleine home yet, this is sadly just another day without her in many respects. Of course they marked her fifth birthday, as much for Sean and Amelie’s benefit as anything else, but they did it privately within the family.”

How long before we are watching Sean and Amelie?

DAILY STAR: “MADDIE BIRTHDAY.. NO CAKE, NO CARDS”

DAILY MIRROR: “Twins’ do on Maddy birthday”

A media blitz by the McCanns, and an appeal to contact their private detectives at Metodo 3.

Says Clarence Mitchell: “The emails have run into yho0usands and there have been hundreds of calls”

We know the feeling.

Slightly off topic, but it has come to light that Hitler was an aficionado of the banjo.

Does any of you know by chance if it is going to happen? ”

It will be done via internet, with a special virtual reality software.

Is this true or is it a wind-up? Will they have little avatars or whatever they’re called, representing the players, maybe a Lara Croft type figure for the aerobics instructor?

Any more suggestions? Perhaps the Russian version can be called Grand Inferno Auto.

Sadly they expelled that unpleasant person before we could remove all his feathers; a humane act on the part of the M&As but I am not a humane person when it comes to tossers…

Not exactly private then is it.
    Did the twins play monsters.
Did they talk to M on their phone.
    Sympathy for more cash donations.

One wonders why so many people (thousands??? !!!) only call now, one year after, when a hot line has been available all the time. Incredible there are so many slow people around. Incredible how many incredible things we hear about the case.

Incredible that so few people point out how incredible they are.

It surprises me that nobody of the industrious followers of the case seems to have so far tried to arrange a second life version of PdL. Or have I just missed something? Should be a must for Stevo.

Maybe, but nothing would surprise me in this case. I’ll check to see whether Coldwater and his “barbecue source” know anything about this…
