Just watching GMTV!

Do you know how many kiddies fall down steps and die or end up in hospital?

Do you know how many kids rifle through their Mummy's handbags and munch on their tablets?

Do you know how many kiddies drink household cleaners and die or end up in hospital? Drown in the bath or pond or swimming pool?

Well - it's a lot!

Phew!!! I hope the Clan aren't watching this - it might make them realise how neglectful it is to abandon your kiddies for a few minutes, seconds ..... Shudder, shudder shudder!

I bet Fiona Phillips won't like the idea of this item being on the show!

Oh, dear! Natty's fur is in an awful state and falling out. The trouble is that she seems a happy cat and, for her advanced years, is still pretty active. It is very hard to decide what to do when an animal is so very old. Do you put them through the trauma of ongoing treatment?

****************

patch, its justa blood test then medication and blood tests to check its working.

I've had my 14yr old Harry (dog) having monthly blood tests for Cushings treatment, and he's fine, much better than if left untreated.

Funnily enough, the cat I mentioned is also ravenous all the time. Natty's very old and somewhat senile. As soon as she's been fed, she's hassling for the next feed! She scoffs the other cats food and drives us mad with her constant desire to eat. Putting a weekly shop away is almost impossible with her under our feet.

Do you think she could have the same condition as your charge?

**********

patch,
its a thyroid condition, they are still getting the balance right with the meds. Daisy is ancient too, and its possible its being complicated by diabetes which also induces a ravenous appetite when undiagnosed/treated.

Is the cats coat dull and awful looking and any smells?

Patch,
One of my charges pushes my arm out of the way once I have emptied her food into the bowl.
She does have a medical condition that makes her ravenous

One of my 3 cats actually touches people to get attention! She sits on the arm of the sofa and touches your arm (or head!) with her paw until she gets attention! Just as well that we don't have a baseball bat!

Chenier
Hope you are feeling better.
If you look in later I wonder if you have any thoughts on why the proposed McC court action against the Leicestershire Police is actually going to court? Surely if Justice Hogg rules to give information from the investigation into Madeleine's disappearance to people who are suspects she would have to be sure that
1. they are innocent of any involvement in her disappearance
2. that Metodo3 would do a better job than the combined British and Portuguese police forces in investigating her whereabouts.
Otherwise it would not be in Madeleine's interest to release this information
That would seem to preempt/subvert the main investigation and is it surely beyond Justice Hogg's powers to rule on this case?
Must go now but I will check this evening.

374 Morning Noseycow
The thought of a successful court action by the McCanns against Leicestershire police to release information to suspects in the investigation of their potential victim's disappearance is chilling.
There is echos of the film and book 'The Night of the Hunter' which is about an evil preacher's pursuit of 2 orphans who appear unprotected from his Christian spin until they meet a powerful alternate Christian protector who can see clearly what is going on - the wolf in the sheep's clothing idea. It is a chillingly filmed through the eyes of the vulnerable children. It must be one of the great films.
