Madeleine McCann: Tourist Has New Pictures Of Tapas 7 For Sale
PAULO Reis has published an interesting piece of information on the Madeleine McCann case on his site. Read on:
“McCann case: 24 pictures that may help to re-open the case
A tourist who was (allegedly) at the Tapas Bar, on the night of May 3, took several pictures where the table with the McCanns and their friends is visible.
The tourist was with his wife and another couple and they took pictures from each other, with the McCann table on the background.
The owner of the pictures is (said to be) negotiating with several British newspapers to sell the rights for an exclusive publication, but with a condition: before being published, the pictures must be sent to the Portuguese police.
The tourist is well aware that the pictures may have important evidence related with a crime and not sending it to police is considered also a crime, in his country.
Yesterday, a well known legal office from UK (allegedly) knew about the existence of those pictures and contacted the owner, offering to buy all pictures for 600,000 Euros. But the British lawyers didn’t accept the condition set by the owner – that the pictures should be sent to the Portuguese police, just before the transaction. The lawyers’ office wanted to be free to choose the moment when the pictures would be send to Portuguese authorities, so the offer was refused by the tourist.“

Assuming that the above is true and genuine, it begs the question, when exactly did ‘British lawyers’ feel that they were able to dictate when information in a criminal case should be handed over to the police? Is Madeleine not a Ward of Court, are they not officers of the court? Do they not have a duty to the court - the British court - not just the Portuguese court, to instantly hand over any information that may be pertinent to solving the riddle of what happened to Madeleine.
I have mixed feelings regarding the purchase of information when it is done by newspapers, but is this a new era, that information is being purchased by lawyers, who then decide what to do with it?
Why has the tourist not come forward before?
What or whom, is, or is not, in those photographs that makes them worth 600,000 euros.
Where is the 600,000 euros coming from - the last we heard the McCann Find Madeleine fund was down to it’s last 480,000 euros.So it could not possibly be the legal firm involved with the McCann Fund…could it?
One other question would be if the tourist sold the pictures to a legal firm intent on suppression - would the gent have his collar felt?

What was not clear was that the drop from the window - underneath which was the flower-bed was 4 metres - and the settee was under that window inside.
I can’t find the drawing showing where the dogs got scent but - did not think any of the windows were that high up !!

Because a three year-old child is missing/ presumed dead/abducted/ living in a Fairy-tale castle - or has been used by paedophiles and met a watery grave or has been buried somewhere.
Or maybe she is still alive and being used by a paedophile gang - which is why somebody has donated lots of money so that crack teams can get to the bottom of it - allegedly

Desperate Kate and Gerry McCann have forked out £500,000 on an “A-Team” of former top spooks to find missing daughter Madeleine.
The couple now have “a global operation” of dozens of retired FBI, CIA and even MI5 agents dedicated to solving the mystery of her disappearance.
The top secret team has been given six months to solve the riddle.
Doctors Kate and Gerry, both 40, have vowed to keep up the search for five-year-old Madeleine after the latest sighting at a Belgian bank was ruled out.
And the couple, from Rothley, Leics, have been reassured their new team of private eyes will follow up every lead around the world.
Their spokesman Clarence Mitchell said: “There is a global operation working for Kate and Gerry.
“They are internationally-based with components in Britain, America, Europe and other countries where sightings have been made.”
The new team, appointed three months ago, is half way through a six-month contract.
Mr Mitchell explained: “A sum of £500,000 has been committed to them from the Find Madeleine Fund.
“They have been on board for a few months and are on a six-month contract.
“For security reasons we can’t go into detail of the experts involved but it would not be wrong to say some are former military and police personnel with a degree of expertise.”
Last night Mr Mitchell revealed there had been several more sightings of Madeleine in Belgium on top of 30 reported in the past week.
He said: “A number of these sightings have been well- meaning and have been looked at but ruled out.
“Kate and Gerry are not getting excited or upset by the reported sightings.”
A family source added: “Unfortunately, with all the publicity, there have been some copycat sightings which police are not taking at all seriously.”
The couple’s Spanish-based detective agency Metodo 3 are still working on an £8,000-a-month retainer.
They are being kept on because of their local know-ledge and contacts.
Mr Mitchell explained: “Spain, Portugal and North Africa still remain the most likely places where Madeleine could be.
“However, with recent sightings in Amsterdam and Brussels, we have the power to have investigators out on the ground immediately.”

·Our sympathies today are split, however, for we must also spare a small pang of pity for the security guard in Brussels who on Tuesday told the Sun about his sighting of a young girl who absolutely, definitely, without question was Madeleine McCann. “I saw her face and recognised that it was her,” said the man. “I would bet everything I own that it was her.” And sure enough, Belgian police later confirmed - dear reader, you are ahead of me - that it wasn’t. We can find nothing, as yet, on eBay, but Kate and Gerry McCann will be heartened that the man is without doubt now living under a cardboard box with only his own gnawed fists and his shame for sustenance.
