MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann, Kate McCann and Gerry McCann
THIS IS TAMWORTH: “Chase artist’s postage stamp portraits in museum display”
AN EXHIBITION of postage stamp portraits, created by renowned Hednesford artist Pete Mason, is on display at the Museum of Cannock Chase.
A wrote a letter to the papers, they printed it on Anorak…
The painter and illustrator is displaying his works, including pictures containing 2500 stamps up to 20,000 stamps, until November 14.
At 32p a stamp, it’s an expensive hobby…
The exhibition, entitled Post Pop Art Too! includes Whaam!, a tribute to Roy Lichtenstein, and a further tribute to the abstract artist Bridget Riley, as well as portraits of Simon Cowell, Princess Diana, Winston Churchill and Gordon Brown.
All the great – the legends – of British life, of what makes this country great…
A number of smaller canvases have been included with portraits of Terry Wogan, Nelson Mandella [sic], Margaret Thatcher and Madeleine McCann.
Maddie. Maddie. Maddie. Out! Out! Out!
Free-eeeee Madldine MCCann/ 17 months in….Blankety Blank…
“By choosing the ordinary everyday objects of postage stamps and placing them so that their usual significance becomes obscure, it enables the audience to see art with new eyes,” said a spokesman for the museum, who added: “In this case Pete takes ordinary things and combines them in extraordinary ways.”
Now to find a big envelope…

Hi coco
My computers playing silly buggers today
November 1st, 2008 at 8:57 am
Good morning
What’s the problem, Brandon? What are the “symptoms”?
November 1st, 2008 at 8:59 am
Mine was really slow yesterday and is still not up to speed.
Do you reckon that all our posts are going through Government thingies to make sure that they know where we live so that they can come and lock us up into slavery if we don’t go along with the Clan’s reprise of The Emperor’s New Clothes? lol

Good Morning Chatelaine! - I keep getting a little square box in the middle of my screen asking me if I would like to de-bug as there is a bug error.
Sometimes I have to press NO at least five times!
November 1st, 2008 at 9:03 am
The rasping creatures have been out with huge force this past couple of days …….. Mmmmmmmmmmm!

November 1st, 2008 at 9:12 am
I have my screen going black from time to time without any reason. My IT guys have no idea what it is. Also have been having serious email problems. Receiving some with hours, sometimes DAYS of delay, or not at all.
Coco: did you try to restart? Sometimes clears out bugs.
November 1st, 2008 at 9:15 am
Thanks for the hugs and kind thoughts yesterday Chatelaine. X
It may explain to some people why I have always posted at mad times - on account of being around for sick pets and friends - But I have held my job down throughout! And always had my daily dose of Anorak to cheer me along!

Coco-why would you need to go incognito to a funeral-straight question-are you a celebrity? i would have expected all the attention to be on the deceased or next of kin.
………………………………………………………………………..
Whoops - lol! I can’t say why! lol But maybe one day it will go in my book!
May I just say that it was nothing to do with an affair as suggested by some imbecile on here. lol
Adultery is something that I am very, very moral about!
I have never been involved with anybody who has made a commitment to somebody else - ever.
I always say - if it’s worth having sex with somebody else other than your partner - it’s worth saying good-bye to your partner - coz you are not good enough for them anymore!
November 1st, 2008 at 9:15 am
hi brandon flours,
our site was fine!

Reports emanating from Faro seem to have rattled many cages.
November 1st, 2008 at 9:20 am
Brandonflours! Shout Baby! Shout! I would rather have you shouting than not at all!
Christ! We have the rasping arse-holes screaming and shouting all bloody day on here!
Where are the Sphincter Dolls today anyway? lol
CHATELAINE! I thought I was being paranoid! Honestly - my computer was a nuisance a few weeks ago and it was sent away and nothing was found to be wrong. I had BT in to check my connections and telephones - nothing wrong.
Some people were not receiving mail which were in my sent box!
Now it is playing up again - I am disturbed!
Maybe there is more to my Alien abduction theory of MM than even I could have thought! lol

Matt. I really love all these emanations! I find them hugely cathartic.
They must be an absolute enema and colonic irrigation for Mr. Amaral!
And …… a most unwelcome enema and colic irrigation for the Clannies. lol

November 1st, 2008 at 9:55 am
You can giggle as much as you want, Coco. It’s healthy.

Did Ireland have to prepare themselves for the Visitation from the Unholy One’s
in October ?
Or did McClarry get his dates wrong ?
November 1st, 2008 at 10:08 am
Chatelaine LOL!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
La la la la la la la ……….
Given all the comments in the foreing Press I cannot believe that the Sphincter Dolls are not defnding the indefensible this morning.
Do they have to brief each other before they come on here in a pack?
November 1st, 2008 at 10:09 am
Matt. It was all a bit too quiet and secretive for me.

“Madeleine McCann: Ode To The Media
In days of old, and media bold
Truth was still in fashion
Square jawed men across the land
Were fuelled with burning passion
With rolled up sleeves and furrowed brow
And copy in their hand
Editors with steely eyes would cry,
“Publish and be damned”
But now such men have gone their way
A child is just a brand
Editors with bankers eyes now cry,
“Don’t Publish- we’ll be McCanned”.

Very apt.

DORIS!!! Lovely to see you. I know you are busy. I always read the back-posts.
JUNE - There’s a bit wot sez - ”The very essence of success - the first rule if you like - is to actually understand and accept that you do have a bona fide crisis on your hands. This might seem stunningly obvious, but may not be so for those at the centre of such storms.”
……………………………………………………………………….
A bone fide crisis indeed! This is what we need to know.
Or anyway - just throw the dog a bone!
November 1st, 2008 at 10:46 am
“”Common symptoms for bodies mismanaging a crisis are apologies, where
obvious and appropriate, that are still seen to be slow in coming, grudgingly given
or issued in stages, despite the rising clamour from stakeholders growing ever
louder.
Equally damaging is the appearance that the organisation is being buffeted by
events. Worse still, the public perception that its actions are merely reactive, responding to events rather than controlling them”"
Looks like this is where McClarry went wrong.
Bet he hasn’t noted the irony.
