Madeleine McCann: Playing Party Politics With Flick Cox
WHAT news of Flick Cocks, the Young Tory embroiled in the Matthews Lewis macabre made-up Maddie madness mayhem?
It turns out that Flick Cocks is her real name. You knew?
Felicity Cox, an employee of Stoke-on-Trent City Council, has been temporarily excluded from the Conservative Party. Flick Cox works as a political assistant to the Conservative and Independent Alliance group.
Anorak learns that she is “believed to get paid £25,000 a year”.
Must the money now be donated to the hunt?
Nodding heads gather:
Says Councillor Roger Ibbs, leader of the Conservative and Independent Alliance group:
“I have complete confidence in Flick’s ability to do her job in her usual professional manner.”
BNP leader councillor Alby Walker:
“I think this is an embarrassment for the Conservative Party and also for the city council.”
Labour group leader councillor Joy Garner:
“It is alleged unless she is proven guilty, but it is very sad if it is true because she has very promising career prospects.”
And on it goes until a chink of light:
Councillor Ann James, leader of the City Independents, said she was not in a position to comment, while the Liberal Democrat group leader councillor Jean Bowers said she was reluctant to be drawn into the politics of the matter.
Indeed. More power to City Independents and the LibDembs.
Can political capital be made of a child gone missing in a foreign country? Is a politics worker always at work, never off duty?
It would seem so…

I’m a Cherokee Nation USA Part Cherokee maybe part Scottish Black Dutch American who’s left thumb finger has been controlled by people from other planet earths and stuff. Its like my dreams came out my head and got a little feelableand sometimes i got invisible other people have to. Every time I wonder where Madeleine McCann is or think about a photo i seem to get their past. Its children and the parents doing what ours already has and I don’t know how toget the right Madeline McCann thats like ours feelable enough to know where she is. There’s been so many accidents of people getting cut with fingernails and other things that aren’t from their planet that it’s ridiculous. Be healed turned into a heel part of a foot hitting someone who didnt need healed. So skin back together and fix back are the words i use thoughts i use. I use more thoughts than anything and i just have to write think to fix and its fixed on another world I have yet to fix much of any on my own world unless i switch places with another La Donna a person just like me or similiar. And telling thinking however someone to breathe does work when it comes to people on other planets in my life if you feel a finger swinging in the air think for La Donna to be unfeelable and it’ll probably stop. And or everyone feelable to their own earth. Thanks and some French really need to tell who the man and woman is that has or had Madeleine in Amsterdam it’s not hard to type it on a computer or write it telephone it something. Kate needs her child home she is a very true woman more than anything else Madeleine needs to be home with Kate because thats what she wants. If nothing else at least think her to be with Kate at least any who’s around on another planet has a chance to get home and your like a angel instead of a bad kind of devil even though your just a person on another planet. Madeleine if someone reads this to you Mog probably was helping a kitty from another planet dont think someone couldnt help you get to your book. I love you like a sister, mother, friend and that’s how i think of you and whoever read it to her you owe me so get Madeleine to to Kate I dont know what you owe me for yet but i can find something. Thanks from La Donna.

It took you over one & a half hours (approx) to whoosh me??????
Don’t bother to moderate this. Nothing has changed except….I assume the banning has stopped as revenue is needed from people merely clicking on the site?
Shame!

Bugger!
You’ve noticed at last!
I propose to rehash the glory days by directing us all to Youtube. With any luck Gandolf might come back; in the meantime, baby we were undoubtedly born to run…

True. Even political types I like are a sorry lot.
Young Tories are the dimmest because if they were capable of realising what others think of them - they would have gone into the Labour Party (all the best Tories are currently in the Labour Party - a few of them in Scotland are in the SNP).

You got that right. When are people going to wake up to the realisation that those who go into politics, for the most part, are not the sorts of individuals you would rationally choose to rule over a country and your lives.
Used car salesmen and failed lawyers are not people I would willingly choose to run a country, given a choice, unfortunately the breed is self-selecting so the choice is limited to picking between a selection of undesirables. Hobson’s choice.

IMO its not so much what these dumbass kids say or do and then report gleefully on Facebook, its the fact that they are aspiring politicians but have no insight into what is/isn’t appropriate behaviour.
I mean, did that stupid boy not think beforehand: ‘hmmm, this is not a good idea, this could impact on my future career in politics’ ?
Did Flick Cox not think ‘hmmm, best ignore this silly nonsense, I don’t want to be publicly connected to it’ ?
There are many things politicians of ALL parties do that calls their judgment into question; do we realy need any more without the necessary insight to judge right from wrong? Nahhhh.

Be reasonable, chaps. What are the pols supposed to do when the economy is disintegrating around them, and they haven’t a clue as to what to do about it?
Kick up a stink about Maddie, that’s what…

Fake blood peddlars are dreadful , Kensington gore all over the place, perhaps she slipped on it and fell over banged her head, the wig gave way and the judgement escaped/abducted itself then?
January 21st, 2009 at 9:17 am
I think the comments are hurtful & unhelpful. Flix was at worse naive due to the cultural differences between the tories & other parties. I’m sure she regrets the moment her judgement was abducted out of her brain and the media should go after the real perpetrators of the crime: the wig and fake blood peddlers.

Have to say my swearing has reached new highs or lows - I tend to compare the MM threads with a bad day on the M25, and unless I desperately need a pee, the M25 is usually better

June
The glory days were great.
I genuinely sharpened up my debating skills - stopped being so hyper-sensitive about insults - and managed to sort out the deep-seated insecurities that came from my parents mixed marriage.

I know it was much more fun when 8 jostled, well, until the serious posters/angsters appeared telling us how sick we all were and it was a missing child and her grieving parents….

It’s so not an achievement these days.
