Missing Madeleine McCann On BBC Daytime TV Show
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann, Kate McCann and Gerry McCann
Daily Record: “Quirke Start To A Mid-Life Crisis”
THE BBC’s new entertainment show Missing is on daytime telly. Quirk plays “DS Mary Jane Croft, a charismatic detective who runs an under-resourced department. The drama, set in a busy Missing Persons Unit, sees staff race against time to save people who are at risk.”
“But I’m pleased I’ve filmed the series. It’s entertainment - I wouldn’t claim it to be anything else - but you never know, do you? Somebody who has had a fall-out with their family and has gone missing may see the show, feel a pang of conscience and get in touch with relatives who are worried sick about what has happened to them.”
Pauline is relieved to report nobody has ever gone missing from her own family - husband Steve Sheen and children Emily, 24, and Charlie, 14.
Phew!
She says: “I can, truly, think of nothing worse than missing a child and for that uncertainty to continue - as it has for the parents of Madeleine McCann - must be unbearable.
Fact and fiction - can you spot the difference?
The Herald: “Body discovered in loch believed to be missing Uist cadet”
The mysterious disappearance had haunted the island community since Christmas, but it now looks as if the long search for a 21-year-old merchant navy cadet who went missing almost three months ago is at an end.
The people of South Uist have been looking for Simon MacMillan since he vanished in the early hours of Boxing Day in the township of Linique in the Iochdar area of the island…
A group of locals discovered a body at around 10.30am yesterday in Loch Bee, just south of the road between Linique and Mr MacMillan’s home in Ardmore.
And context?
Northern Constabulary brought in Mark Harrison, the national search adviser to the National Policing Improvement Agency, who was also involved in the search for Madeleine McCann.
Is Our Maddy on your CV?
However, after police drew a blank, an expert who had reviewed the hunt for Madeleine McCann was called in to help develop new leads.
Local police also recruited Mark Harrison, the national search adviser to the National Policing Improvement Agency, who had previously worked with West Midlands police following the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.
The Guardian: “PCC targets Sunday Express over Dunblane allegations”
The Press Complaints Commission has launched an investigation after the Scottish edition of the Sunday Express ran a front page story alleging survivors of the Dunblane massacre “shamed” the memory of their dead friends by boasting about drunken nights out on social networking websites.
The article, titled “Anniversary shame of Dunblane: internet boasts of sex, drink and violence as youngsters hit 18″ appeared on March 8. It claimed that a number of the those who witnessed the massacre first-hand had “posted shocking blogs and photographs of themselves on the internet, 13 years after being sheltered from public view in the aftermath of the atrocity”.
Sixteen children and their teacher were murdered when gunman Thomas Hamilton burst into the gym at Dunblane Primary School and opened fire on March 13 1996. Hamilton then turned the gun on himself.

And:
The editor of the Daily Express, Peter Hill, left the board of the PCC last year following front page and high court apologies from Express Newspapers titles the Daily Express, Daily Star, Sunday Express and Daily Star Sunday over a string of false stories about the disappearance of four-year-old Madeline McCann, which resulted in payments of £550,000 in damages to the McCann family.
Never let her lie…

So anybody know a french circus peroson or someone who knows someone or so on then type in anna stams sketches and look at the dutch couple and know she was taken by a man with long to shoulders black hair parted on the right side of his head and somehow got with the dutch couple whether their dutch or not their called dutch and it is her if her name is madeleine beth mccann and she might not know the whole story is why she said they took her even if it isnt her the child called la petite needs to know the story and talk at least on the phone to her parent who gave birth to her so she can understand if she was adopted or something it can affect her life in alot of ways like not trusting the dutch couple,, like thinking they are thieves, like i can take whatever, whoever, whenever i like, anybody can, nobody knows whose kid is really whose. Like always thinking the dutch couple is lying and other people could be to i could anybody could if you dont tell em the truth theyll never know it, i can go anywhere and say im anyone, i can practice all these things by thinking and pretending im whoever i want to be whenever no matter what anyone says or thinks and when older im so good i can say it outloud instead of pretending and thinking it i can do it. theres alot of affecting it does.

JUST HOPE THEY FIND HER SOON.
March 20th, 2009 at 6:59 pm
Indeed C&C it looks like they agree to that.
I on the other hand, would say it raises questions about moral standards and ethics., think the subject is worth an open and err [dare I say it?] honest discussion.

Btw I like this reason [mentioned in the pamphlet] best:
60. The Pope’s decision to withdraw all support for the McCanns
Don’t you think if the PJ reads that, they’ll immediately send a warrant for their arrest?

I know Totje…. so surreal to watch isn’t it? Someone mailed me some of the stuff that was deleted; even the likes of Chesty don’t seem to understand that NOTHING is private on the internet, even personal/private messages it seems!
March 20th, 2009 at 5:09 pm
Since old Chesty was unable to change ‘his’ Wiki page according to his wishes, he’s now calling his disciples to arms to change Madeleine’s page or make an ‘alternative’ page.
Oh and threads as well as posters disappearing like socks in the washing machine

Austin, TX - Texan businessman, Tom Franks, has offered to donate a million dollars towards the Find Madeleine Fund, a company set up by the parents of missing British girl Madeleine McCann. Madeleine was three-years-old when she disappeared from her vacation apartment in Praia- da-Luz, Portugal in May 2007.

I can still access the forum but that particular thread has been protected. I see that are deleting all the members who have 0 posts and they have disabled the PM facility as it was being used to form gangs for bullying purposes and for idle chit chat. Heaven forfend. I wonder how they know that when they have always said they are unable to read PM’s.
Anyway, enough idle chit chat

was that the thread with a certain ex-anorakian throwing a hissy fit? I can still access the forum myself but not via that link.

If the cadaver dogs indication was correct, I would have thought the Mccanns would have been in jail by now
March 18th, 2009 at 3:21 am
If it wasn’t for the “Cadaver dog’s” indication behind the sofa in apartment 5A, I would have said it was more likely that Maddie ran AWAY from the “Circus”
March 17th, 2009 at 1:47 pm
“However, after police drew a blank, an expert who had reviewed the hunt for Madeleine McCann was called in to help develop new leads.”
And what, precisely, did he achieve in his review of the ‘hunt for MM’ ?
Some expert !

Like I always say, better the media circus you know than the media circus you don’t.
March 17th, 2009 at 11:27 am
Yes they do
March 17th, 2009 at 10:59 am
The children don’t chenier but their parents do
March 17th, 2009 at 10:15 am
hello chenier! Have you ran away to the circus or have you been on hols ?
March 17th, 2009 at 8:24 am
It may just be me, but I’m pretty sure children don’t run away to join the circus anymore.
Apart from the media one, that is…
March 16th, 2009 at 8:59 pm
All that money wasted by the McCanns on hiring detectives……..
So, Madeleine was kidnapped by some strangers from Amsterdam, who work for a circus. They illegally took her, which is illegal (and also a sick bird) to their illegal circus but have cunningly changed the name of Europe’s most famous toddler and sent her to school, where no one will notice that not only has an illegal circus turned up in town but also there’s a new girl who only speaks English who keeps saying “My name is Madeleine”.
Come on Anorak, you need to get on this soon. Don’t forget that Madonna’s probably working at this illegal circus too (Previous story refers…)
March 16th, 2009 at 7:23 pm
so could anorak do a story about france’s many circus’s that have no license to be in business and show a picture of the amsterdam strangers to people while out thereand find out a name to help find madeleine mccann you figure illegally taking someones child is illegal so having a circus is probably illegal too. In france they just just change the circus name if they get caught having it in business and guess what happened to madeleine mccann she got her name changed not legally but changed to lapetite something i wish i knew the last name. all the chools in amsterdam and france needchecked for a lapetite thats madeleine mccann.
March 16th, 2009 at 5:58 pm

March 16th, 2009 at 4:05 pm
