A Free Stick With Every Daily Mail
AH, those newspaper freebies, inducements to read their news and no-one else.
Today the Mail is offering its readers “A Top Ten Toy”. Exciting stuff. What will your toy be? A dolly? A teddy? A sticky?
To the Toy Hall of Fame where visitors are ogling the new exhibit:
The lowly stick, a universal plaything powered by a child’s imagination, landed in the National Toy Hall of Fame on Thursday…
Curators said the stick was a special addition in the spirit of a 2005 inductee, the cardboard box. They praised its all-purpose, no-cost, recreational qualities, noting its ability to serve either as raw material or an appendage transformed in myriad ways by a child’s creativity.
The stick comes in a myriad of great lengths, exhilarating colours and curves - collect them all this week and every week.
