DAILY MAIL: “Kate and Gerry McCann to be cleared as Portuguese police close Madeleine investigation”
Portuguese police have concluded their probe into the mystery and found no evidence against the couple, it was claimed today. Fellow suspect Robert Murat will also be cleared of any crime, respected Portuguese newspaper Jornal de Noticias reported.

Robert Murat’s lawyer Francisco Pagarete said he knew nothing of the latest developments in the Madeleine McCann case. He added: ‘We haven’t been contacted by anyone in the police for more than three months. Robert is calm.’
SKY NEWS: “Portuguese detectives have dropped the Madeleine McCann case due to lack of evidence, according to media reports in Portugal.”
At least that’s what Portuguese newspapers say:
Judicial police “do not have sufficient evidence to allow formal charges to be brought against the McCanns in the disappearance of their daughter,” the Correio da Manha newspaper said. “The police have not found the guilty,” echoed the Jornal de Noticias daily.

Maybe now that the inevitable has happened - the parents have been cleared of their arguido status, the nonsense can stop.
This case has shown just how easily a child can be removed and concealed from the ‘greatest’ detectives and investigators on earth.
As a mother of a small child myself I would be much more heartened by a web site that concentrated on things such as the amber alert and other such cooperative arrangements instead of the crazy Mcann bashing that anyone can see is a deadend useless action.

No charges will be laid because the perpetrators were very careful. That says a lot. Sickening news, but justice will be done for Madeleine. Maybe not now, but later on. Now that the heat is off all concerned, someone will spill the beans so to speak, and IMHO, shall we all be surprised. No.

I’ve noticed that whenever I make a (bitchy usually) remark about the 3 arses I get inundated with porn spam for a few days. 214 last night in among the viagra and bank detail requests.
Co-incidence? It’s happened a few times so I guess someone is doing naughty things with my email address. Can’t imagine who that could be. Now let me think……….
Luckily I have a brilliant spam filter so it all goes in the junk but I do have to flick through in case genuine mails have been spammed by mistake. I got the lot overnight, photos, movies, Sexy Sadie from Brazil wanting to show me her bits in close up.
As if!
It really is so very childish and the person doing it is obviously a bit of a porn merchant.
Rather than being irritated I am mildly amused and feel slightly sorry for whoever is doing it….. what a sad life he/she must have!!

I have on a number of times in the past had problems with my web service after some postings also. I thought it was just my computer but I was suspicious all the same, now I am even more so. Thank you cool and calm for sharing that.

It”s too early in the morning to go Mystic on us!!!!!!! We knew the 14th was the date
a decision would be made either to charge or shelve. Here”s my theory on what will
happen. The PJ know they have Mobile phone evidence which is very incriminating but cannot be used. They are p***ed off that the McCanns Lawyers are yet again
trying to delay any proceedings by this High Court action, so will shelve the case and
the McCanns will not have access to the files which seem so important to them.
Amaral will then have his Book published with all the info and the blessing of the PJ
and the McCanns actions will be exposed and their reputations ruined,
