I’m having some problems making the mental connections, here, but I think I’ve cracked it:
We all lose our jobs, go bankrupt, starve, have lots of free time on our hands, and decide to take up sport?
I can see it now; a thinner, leaner, fitter Britain rising like a phoenix from the ashes of what was supposed to be the Olympic site come 2012…
