Madeleine McCann: Murat, Toscano And Friends

mccann1.jpg“MADELEINE’S FAMILY FRIENDS QUIZZED.”

The Express looks on as Rachael Oldfield, Russell O’Brien and Fiona Payne are questioned by detectives investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

All three were dining with the McCanns on the night Madeleine went missing. The Express says O’Brien and Payne are doctors. As the express tells us every day, Gerry McCann is a cardiologist and his wife Kate a GP.

Prime Suspect

The Express then relives the night of Madeleine’s disappearance. But after 70 days of searching the facts have not altered one bit: it is night; the thee McCann children are in the holiday apartment; the parents are 100 yards away having dinner; Madeleine McCann is missing. The McCanns are doctors.

And Robert Murat is the chief suspect. The only suspect. He is at the police station the same time as the McCann’s dining party. “There was a reason why they were present in the station at the same time as Murat,” says a police source.

Was it to trigger a memory, to see if one of the dining party had seen Murat before, possibly around Madeleine or on the night of her vanishing?

We are not told. All we know is that Murat has spent another 6 hours in the company of the Portuguese police. That is 35 hours in total since Madeleine McCann went missing. So many questions. Robert Murat has not been arrested.

And there’s Antonio Toscano, the “Spanish investigator” who talks of ‘The Frenchman’ taking Madeleine.

Anorak readers have heard more of this Frenchman. Paulo Reis in Portugal tells us his name is Bernard Alapetite. He denies taking Madeleine. He denies being in Portugal since 1977. He has a sordid past.

But Alapetite has not been arrested. He has not been questioned. Toscano has not delivered up the criminal.

And Madeleine McCann is missing. Still missing…

  1. 1 lisa Says:

this is all just so horrible. why won’t the horrid sh*t who has taken madeleine get a real life and tell the police where she is. why would anyone want to do this to a defenceless child? i really do hope they rot in hell.

  2. 2 liz Says:

Someone is holding back on vital information, Murat and his mates including the friend / lawyer Tuck price, seem very suspect to me, there was a photo published of Gerry playing with all three kids, in the back ground is a man on his own watching them, it is a striking resemblance to Murat /Price. please own up and let this child be reunited with her family

  3. 3 Truthman Says:

    She’s dead.

    Move on people.

    Nothing to see/dig up here.

  4. 4 liz Says:

truthman, where you get your info, not a very nice thing to post, what makes you so sure ,…..genuine enquiry, would like to hear your theory

  5. 5 Anon Says:

Can you post a link to a image. Only one I can find is a small jpeg and the image of man isn’t that clear and could by anyone.
So now his lawyer’s in on it as well. Can’t trust lawyers can we awful people going around defending people stopping the police from locking villains away just because they haven’t got evidence. Who are you going to accuse next estate agents , second hand car salesmen.

  6. 6 colin Says:

Yep, can’t believe people are still banging on about this…get a life and some misery of your own will follow.

And yep, stats and common sense say she was dead a few hours after being taken….fin.

  7. 7 Grace Says:

Listen the reason why they won’t let this go is because peoples have grown fond of Madeleine and kids in her situation. If you were a parent the roles were reverse you wouldn’t want anyone to let it go neither.

  8. 8 sarah Says:

leave robert alone, hes done nothing wrong.

  9. 9 liz Says:

there is no body, so there is no death, while ever there is faith there is hope, I dont necessarily agree the the team mccann campaign, not all parents of missing kids have the resources for this, it has however brought to light the evil underground world of weirdo’s, sorry Sarah I think he has somethng to do with this case, I have had a very open mind about this and I will not be totally surprised if the outcome is not what we are expecting.

    too many loose ends

  10. 10 liz Says:

anon, cant find that link now but I know I saw it and it was big enough to be a clear picture.

  11. 11 John Says:

I feel such anguish and despair for the McCanns and little innocent Madeleine that this whole sordid affair has taken on a life of it’s own with practically no end in sight. 70 days is a long time! Someone or some animal out there knows where Madeleine is and it is incomprehensible why this could be done to a beautiful little girl. She is probably completely confused and very, very scared. The thought of her not being able to grow up normally in her family who made her, brings tears to my eyes. I think this investigation has been bungled from the start. All I care is that Madeleine is found soon unharmed and returned to her parents who are undergoing a terrible, terrible nightmare! If and when the abuctor is found, this demented animal should be dealt with the maximum of the law! To Gerry and Kate, her parents, your tears are also my tears.

  12. 12 JAY Says:

    LIZ,
GET THAT PHOTO ( LINK )

  13. 13 sarah Says:

its easy to say when its not ur family

  14. 14 liz Says:

there is a copy of the photo on briansdreams.com - missing persons - madeleine maccann - 2nd page half way down. (I just know I am going to get flack for visiting that site!!)

Sarah, Robert Murat is a relative ?????

  15. 15 liz Says:

where has truthman gone, why are you not answering the question asked - what makes you so sure that maddie is dead already,

  16. 16 Julie Says:

How can you be so so heartless? There’s something wrong with you if you think her parents enjoy this? It’s so so sad, and it’s weirdos like you who will progress into those evil monsters who kidnapp children(the whole, get over it attitude)

  17. 17 Mr Plod Says:

    http://www.briansprediction.com/dd/5441%20page%202.htm

half way down this page is the picture of Gerry playing with the kids and a man on his own watching them

  18. 18 liz Says:

Yes Mr P that is the picture I was referring to, glad someone else has been to that site, also interesting reading and backs up a lot of the theories flying around,

  19. 19 sarah Says:

I wished that people thought about what they were saying a little more …. its hurtful …what if it was ur relative?

  20. 20 liz Says:

if it was my relative and I thought he was guilty or involved I would shop him, but if you think he is innocent then you should help him to prove it, and with all the dodgy stuff he has been involved in, it may prove a little difficult, and blogs are for expressing exactly what you are thinking, no time to ponder on it, just get it off your chest

  21. 21 sarah Says:

thats the problem though isnt it, dodgy stuf…..what im trying to get at…. when its not ur relative …the only news you hear and facts u hear is from the papers… and from the news stories….. things are taken so much out of context…people saying he refused to take a lie detector test….everyone slated him and then they realise actually it was a lie detector test offered by a newspaper….nothing to do with the investigation and the reason he said no was because the portuguese police had told him not to discuss the case….
i agree if i thought he was guilty then yes fair enough i would ..for the sake of someone life…prove that….. but when u dont think that and when u cant prove it because ur family is in portugal and youa re in england, all u can do is advise people to think about what theyre saying. :o)

  22. 22 liz Says:

get the team mccan to fly you over there, nearly £1m in the account I hear

  23. 23 chris Says:

She’s not dead she’s very much alive. Elements of the portuguese police are corrupt. However there are also elements which are not. These elements will see this through. After 36 hours of questioning Robert Murat is still the only suspect at this moment and for good reason. You will see significant progress very shortly which will have a British police influence about it. Madeleine is not the only one, this has been going on for some time now and there are many more children who have suffered the same as Madeleine at the hands of the same people. Is this a gut feeling??? wait and see……………….

  24. 24 liz Says:

Chris, I so hope you are correct, and I hope it finds all the other kids OK too especially Ben Needham, I am glad I am not the only one with the gut feeling about this, no more lies now, let the truth out and get Madeleine home with her family

  25. 25 Ian Gillies Says:

    >>in the back ground is a man on his own watching them

  26. 26 Ian Gillies Says:

sorry - last post got truncated. I was saying the man is looking at the PHOTOGRAPHER, not the kids.

  27. 27 chris Says:

As you may or may not know, over the last 12 months the CEOP together with many other countries have smashed two world wide peodo rings. Do you think that with the heightened awareness of these types of crimes, coupled with the resources that theses people have, they will let this go? For Whatever reason she was taken, be it for a wealthy couple that could not have kids or for something more sinister they will be caught. The police and the technology they work with are far to clever for these vile animals. Put all that together with the unending drive and determination of some of the best police in the world, I know who’s side I would rather be on and I don’t mean the Portuguese police either! The CEOP’s increasing awareness and knowledge of who these people are is far more than you or I are led to believe. This will have a positive ending as will many other cases like this and I will raise a glass to each one that does.

  28. 28 chris Says:

Hi Sarah, is it fair to say that you are a friend/relative of R.Murat? If so I hope for your sake he is innocent. In my view he is in for a bumpy ride unless he does the right thing. The clock is ticking!…….

  29. 29 Anon Says:

    Liz,
Had a look the picture but it’s not of an high enough resolution to identify the man in the background (should that be grassy knoll ?) clearly and looks like quite a few people I know. Also the man doesn’t appear to be looking at the children. No way to tell as picture only show a point in time and could just as easily be turning in that direction when the picture was taken. Just my opinion though.

Let’s restate that, and see if you’ll answer thruthfully, Chris.

“Hi Chris, is it fair to say that you are a friend/relative of G McCann? If so I hope for your sake he is innocent. In my view he is in for a bumpy ride unless he does the right thing. The clock is ticking!…….”

Those three friends reinterviewed in the police station, in a face-to-face with Mr. Murat, would not have been there to discuss tapas favourites or baby-bundling techniques. The tape was turning!……
