Harriet Harman’s Vest Hard Hat Story
HARRIET Harman is wearing a stab-proof vest.
The Labour deputy leader dressed in the Kevlar jacket to tour Peckham, South London. Just in case one vest as not enough, she took along three spares, carried by three coppers.
Harman says wearing the vest on Monday was a “courtesy” while visiting police. Says she: “I didn’t have to wear a stab-proof jacket. Just as I might wear a hard hat on a building site, it’s about wearing the kit.”
Look out for Harman wearing full football kit to talk about sport, a nurse’s uniform to discuss the NHS and a burka to get into the mood for dialogue on the War on Terror…

This really really pisses me off. Yet again a politician spewing utter crap and lies. Why can’t they ever fffin admit the truth. It drives me nuts. Her suggestion that if she went to a building site then she would wear a hard hat is just her way of getting out of it. She was scared. No doubt about it. If you go to a building site you have to wear a hard hat. it’s the law. It’s got nothing with her wanting to fit in. Why not admit she was scared. Show some human emotion for a change like the rest of us. The country is run by a bunch worse than mugabe. They never treat the root cause of any problem hence they wikll never ever make a change. They are worse than polyfiller smooth over. If she treated the root cause of all this and she was perfectly safe to walk around that place there is no way on this earth she would wear that flak jacket and you wanna know what gets to me more? We brits just accpet it and do nothing about it……we are the mugs..

It was great hearing her get irate on Radio 4 on the breakfast programme the other day when John Humphries said she was suggesting it was unsafe to walk on the streets of London in broad daylight. She forgot all bout being cool and calm!
