Gordon Brown And Rubbish Taxes
THE Daily Mail’s front-page headline says it all: “RUBBISH TAX WILL BE DUMPED.”
It’s a decent pun on Gordon Brown’s tax on household waste. And the pay-as-you-throw tax will be dumped.

Wish they’d give a rebate for those who recycle stuff –hey - would that include NuLab? After a launder and a spell in any High St. charity shop they could emerge as - drumroll -the NuTory

You might have some problems in convincing a judge that this was your intellectual property; s/he’d probably point out that pols have been doing it since the dawn of time.

I thought that Rubbish Tax referred to the recent decision to tax the lower-paid sector of society more harshly by abolishing the 10p rate, henceforth to be known as The Prole Tax.

How can you have a Rubbish Tax, isn”t the removal of rubbish what we pay the huge Council Tax to include??????
