A court in Saudi Arabia is reported to be preparing to hear a plea for divorce from an eight-year-old girl who has been married off to a man in his 50s.
The bride wore Brazt sandals.
The Saudi newspaper al-Watan said the girl had been married off to the man by her father without her knowledge. The child’s mother is thought to be pushing for the marriage to be annulled - though the father opposes the move.

In April, a court in neighbouring Yemen annulled the arranged marriage of another eight-year-old girl. She had been married to a 28-year-old man.

Kilroy-Silk had to quit his BBC TV program for saying how Saudi’s treated there women. How the politically correct sleep at night is beyond me. They turn a blind eye to paedophilia because of there pathetic dogma.

As John has noted, no-one in our government ever mentions these aspects of Saudi society because that might upset the oil-barrel. Yet we are told that fraud investigators cannot pursue the BAE case because this would interrupt the flow of intelligence vital to the ‘War on Terror’.
Of course, were it not for Saudi funding there would be a great deal less Terror to have a War on…

Saudia Arabia, the only country in the world that’s named after a family.Women as it has been often reported have virtually NO rights in that country but the British and American governments are happy to suck-up to them for the sake of lucrative arm contracts and their oil. Human rights get trod on continually in SA but “demoractic” countries sit back in golden silence. The only thing that’s stopped Saudia Arabia being among the peasants of the world is oil, but sadly, the morals of much of the world have been bought because of it.
