The BBC series Miracles of Evolution features the flying penguins

Camera crews happened upon a colony of Adélie penguins on King George Island in the South Atlantic.

  1. 1 petronius Says:

Penguins come from a genus of flightless birds, so is this a bit like the one where the Italians were getting in the pasta harvest?

Will the UK press ever tire of pee-poor wind-ups on April First? Probably not, itmakes some great filler and this time totally legal!? MUST improve…

  2. 2 sammy J Says:

    lame, very lame….

  3. 3 JuneJohnson Says:

anyone ever tried skimming one over water? personally would rather eat it

  4. 4 Scarlett Says:

You are all wrong, flying penguins were first observed as long ago as 1873, by the Victorian naturalist Rolf Palio (later Lord Palio).

  5. 5 Little_Acorn Says:

There’s no effort put into April Fools any more, you can spot them all a mile off!

  6. 6 firestar Says:

that and people don’t think spaghetti grows on trees nowadays.

  7. 7 Mic Says:

    what?!?

Oh bollocks…I’ve just bought a part share in a wholemeal spaghetti orchard from a shifty looking bloke called Jim Dolmio who called at the house.

Do you think this could perhaps be a scam of some sort?
