It is said that the couple live in a homely place that Philip redid. That they both go by bus to Tesco to do shopping. Visit the local RSL and bingo. Go out visiting anyone who asks them for tea and are known to take a bit of tea with them, just like in the war years. They use shoppadockets for the local restaurant…..perhaps they really do.

Good grief, 60 years together , really annoying the living daylights out of someone. But can you imagine 60 years of apologising for Philip,dragging his foot out of his mouth, and kissing the sod too, wonder if he makes the palaces untidy?

My wife says she knows just how Betty feels………………

Her Majesty married the man she loved, regardless of who he was.
Prince Philip, not much to his name with regard to material things, but rich in himself, married someone he loved too.
