Haider Passes On The Left, And Dies
HAIDER is dead. Anorak reader Baby Jane writes from Austria:

“The sun went down on Carinthia.”Those were the words of Jörg Haider’s BZÖ-colleagues, yesterday morning, after his death was announced…
Afterwards I drove through the city where I live, saw people walking, talking … an ordinary Saturday morning … but something was different, and I could actually feel it, see it:
A big, dark, heavy cloud has finally been lifted.
An odious man is dead. But he always reminded Anorak more of Austria’s answer to Billy Holliday than a real politico. Those collars. He was an Austrian celeb in land free to them…

There is a left lane in Austria? Who knew?
I assumed they were identified as the right lane, the far right lane, and the exit lane.

I think BZÖ( Future for Austria) and the FPÖ ( Austrian Freedom Party)have finally learned their lesson. It is not good when someone dies, but they have to realize that we’re all people we live, we die. Racial hatred never solves immigration problems. Many far right -wing parties in many developed countries don’t still get. We all have free speech, but bullying has nothing to do with free speech. Honestly, I don’t bother if he died. Jörg Haider was a racist. In all Eurpean countries, societies face immigration problem, but some countries have a mature approach than others. Jörg Haider was a odious man for people who are filled with hatred and nazi approach. It’s a shame for Carinthia. Worshiping Haider is like worshiping Hitler

That’s the trouble with images; we think of Haider as mildly comical, without being aware of just how dangerous comedians can be.
People used to think Hitler was a funny little man…
