
China Wants Pole Dancing As Olympic Sport
LUO Lan is the woman who introduced pole dancing to China. She is performing at the Guangxi Province Spring Festival gala.Luo tells the New Express newspaper that her dream is to bring pole dancing to the Olympic Games.
UK pole dancing coach Peter Stringfellow is listening, and from his winter training camp argues:
“Pole dancing is all well and good but the UK is best at sports that involve sitting down - sailing, horse rifing, rowing, the bobsleight and cycling. Lap dancing is the future for us.”
Representatives of the International Olympic Committee are examining the options, closely. A biathlon has not been ruled out…

If Ms Lou is unsuccessful with the IOC she can always punt the idea to the BBC in the format of ” Strictly Celebrity Pole Dancing with Big Brother, Get Otta Here!” or similar?
